From games to relaxing spaces, this Smoky Mountain cabin will make any vacation memorable!
Spend days at Bear Claws playing with your pup, grilling out, watching movies with the DVD player, cozying up in front of the electric fireplace, shooting pool, and relaxing in the rocking chairs on the deck. At night, you’ll find 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 1 twin-over-full bunk bed — and TVs in every bedroom!
Conveniences make your stay comfortable and easy, with a fully equipped kitchen where you can create homemade meals and snacks, a washer/dryer for refreshing clothes after hikes, and high-speed wireless internet so you can get dinner show tickets ahead of time, keep up with what’s happening downtown, or post vacay pics!
Living Room
Step into relaxation as you enter the living room at Bear Claws, featuring a high ceiling, stone electric (heated) fireplace, and hardwood floors. Unwind on the futon or glider after your travels or prop up your feet in a recliner after a Smoky Mountain hike. Looking for a little entertainment? Host movie nights with the DVD player and bowls of buttery delights on the adorable bear coffee table. On cooler evenings, sip cocoa and chat with your bestie or open a classic novel by the cozy fireplace.
Kitchen
Nearby awaits the fully equipped kitchen, boasting all major stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), pots and pans, cookware, cutlery, glasses, and more. Fix hearty family feasts, pop Ole Smoky moonshine in the fridge, brew pots of joe anytime, bake fresh biscuits in the mornings, and reheat restaurant leftovers in the microwave. Best of all, Bear Claws has an open concept so conversations can keep going even while the chef in your group whips up a tasty storm!
Dining Area
Just off the kitchen lies the dining area with a round wooden table for 4. Combined with the living room seating, everyone will have a comfortable place to dine at the cabin. And when desserts are done, clear the table for board game fun provided at the cabin. Versatile to be sure, the dining area is also great for arts and crafts with the kiddos, journaling about your trip, or hopping on your laptop for a browse.
Rec Room
Head up the charming spiral staircase to the rec area in the loft, featuring a pool table! Chill on the sofa and cheer for the players or join in the gaming fun and shoot a few rounds of pool. There’s even access to a deck with rocking chairs, so you can cool off after playing or take a moment alone or with your spouse every now and then.
Bedrooms
Time to get cozy and comfy — it’s bedtime at Bear Claws! Relax in the bedroom’s king-size bed, the loft’s queen-size bed or twin-over-full bunk, or the living room’s futon. And the bedroom even has an indoor jetted tub, where you can light a few candles, play tranquil tunes, and soak in the muscle relaxing water before slipping into the cool bed sheets. There are also 2 full bathrooms in the home to make getting ready for bed or town easy.
Outdoor Spaces
Ah, the great outdoors at Bear Claws is where you’ll want to be, taking in the peaceful wooded views. Relax in the steamy hot tub, cook out on the propane grill, and unwind in the rocking chairs. Ready to paint the town red? Head only 4 steps down to the flat, paved (motorcycle friendly) driveway with parking for 4 and venture onto flat, paved roads all the way to town — even the drive is easy here!

"My wife and I want to leave an honest review that is helpful to future guests to bear claws cabins. Staff: Although we never met any of the staff in person the registration process and communication with the staff was quick and easy. Location: The cabin is off the beaten path, but you do hear road noise, and theres also a chainsaw carving place nearby and occasionally you can hear them at work, so there is a little noise but nothing that would be considered bothersome. Cabin: it is cute! Remember to bring your own extra blankets and pillows, AND ALUMINUM FOIL! They supply all cookware, but you will need the basics; coffee filters, laundry detergent, etc. They give you a little tote bag with lots of goodies, DONT BE LIKE US, we waited until the last minute to actually go through it! The spiral staircase while beautiful is very narrow and makes climbing with luggage a task, the jacuzzi tub in the master wasnt working upon arrival, but we never planned to use it. Theres also a trick to bathing: one faucet in use at a time, otherwise there is no water pressure, but it is a CABIN, it's exactly what you should expect. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would readily recommend this to friends and family."

How and when do I pay?
- If your arrival date is more than 120 days out:
- - 15% of the balance is due now, half of the balance is due at 120 days and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is between 31 and 120 days out:
- - Half of the total is due now and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is less than or equal to 30 days out:
- - Your entire balance is due at booking.

What is Property Protection?
Our Property Protection Plans cover unintentional damages to your cabin during your stay and different levels of protection.
- $54 = $1500 in coverage / No security deposit
- $84 = $2000 in coverage / No security deposit

What do additional fees cover?
We want to ensure each guest has a clean, comfortable place to stay. The additional fees cover property cleanup of your cabin once you’ve checked out, reservation fee, taxes and service fee.
Do you offer any discounts?

What about discounts for area attractions?
Our Cabins for YOU Partner Program gives you discounts to top area attractions - from mini golf and mountain coasters to dinner shows and beyond - when you stay with us.
What is your cancellation policy?
4+ bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 6 months of stay.
1-3 bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 3 months of stay.
CFY offers cancellation protection that allows you to cancel your reservation at any point prior to initial use of your key code on your arrival date. Please see details when checking out.
Do you have any pet friendly cabins?
Yes, we have quite a few options for pet-friendly vacations! Check out our wide selection online!
What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
- 1 trash bag per container
- 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
- 1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
What’s provided in the kitchen?

Do all your cabins have Wi-Fi?
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
- Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
- Put trash in proper containers
- Clean used dishes
- Clean any large messes made during stay
- Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will have the directions to your cabin rental.

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
CFY Quality Rating System
Bronze
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.

These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
