Description

Located in beautiful Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, this charming and cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin for up to 4 guests is a peaceful retreat from busy days. After you’re done exploring along the Parkway, touring the Rocky Top Wine Trail, or playing at Dollywood, head back to the pet-friendly Bear Bottom Grotto just minutes away for some rest and relaxation. You'll especially love the treehouse feel as you relax outside in the one-of-a-kind hot tub grotto, complete with tree-studded views.

In the bedroom, spread out in a king-size bed at night. It’s perfect for a romantic weekend as a couple or for your own space when you’re traveling with the kids. Before you head to bed, climb into the heart-shaped jetted tub to unwind! This completely secluded cabin (no other cabins in sight) will give you that getaway you’ve been seeking! There’s also a TV in the bedroom, so you can fall asleep watching a movie or late-night show.

The living room features a sleeper sofa for extra guests, along with wireless internet that makes it easy to stay connected (if you want) or to check out our blog to see what’s happening in the area. The big screen TV is great for unwinding, or you can treat yourself to a nice bath in the heart-shaped indoor jetted tub. The cabin also features a fully equipped kitchen for in-cabin meals and a gas grill for cookouts! Then end your day with a soothing soak in the outdoor hot tub to top it off!

Living Room
Walk into the cozy living room space — featuring hardwood floors and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace — and settle in for total relaxation at Bear Bottom Grotto. Stretch out on the sofa (doubles as a sleeper) with a glass of wine on the coffee table and your favorite DVD playing on the big screen TV. Light the gas fireplace on chilly eves with a mug of hot cocoa and a romantic novel in the armchair. And enjoy morning chats in comfort with wooded views through the windows and coffee from the nearby kitchen at the start of every day.

Kitchen
Updated and modern, the fully equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, glasses, and plenty of tools for whipping up homemade meals in a flash! Store fresh ingredients in the fridge and sweet treats in the freezer, fix hot breakfasts on the stove and savory dinners in the oven, brew a pot of joe whenever you please, and warm leftovers in the microwave. Best of all, there’s a handy dishwasher to clean up the messes, so you can enjoy your vacation without a care.

Dining Area
Just off the kitchen rests the dining area with a wooden table and 4 chic metal chairs. Chat with family and friends while enjoying a tasty meal together here. Guests can also see the living room TV from the table, so you can keep the kiddos entertained while you dine or check out the weather before heading into town. This space is also great for updating your blog, playing a board game from home, or sneaking in a midnight snack.

Loft Bedroom
Ah, after exploring Cades Cove in the national park all day, you’ll be pleased to head to the loft bedroom upstairs — where the heart-shaped jetted tub in the shape of a heart beckons. Run the hot water, add lavender scented bubbles, turn on peaceful tunes, light the bedroom fireplace, and drift away to a world of relaxation before slipping into the soft sheets of the king-size bed. There’s even a mounted flatscreen TV for entertainment, a ceiling fan to keep cool on warm summer nights, and an en-suite bathroom with an open sink area for your convenience.

Outdoor Spaces
Outdoors you’ll find the reason behind the name Bear Bottom Grotto — the hot tub oasis! Step into the custom-built stone grotto with draping plants, fairy lights, a waterfall feature, and bear figures and get ready for a soothing soak in the steamy hot tub. Tree-studded views surround the property, giving you a treehouse feel at this secluded getaway. And there’s even a gas grill and breakfast table so you can cook out and dine in nature. After traveling along the flat, paved roads, pull up the steep, gravel driveway to the lower parking area.

Reviews for Bear Bottom Grotto

  • "This is the perfect cabin for a couples getaway. Close to everything, however, very private and romantic. The cabin was beautiful, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. The bedroom was really nice, the bed was so comfortable, and the jetted tub was great. While this cabin may lack in bathroom space it more than makes up for it with the grotto. The grotto was the high point of this cabin - very private and so peaceful. Whether we were soaking in the hot tub or just relaxing in the grotto with some drinks, it was just perfect. Cabins For You made it a very easy and welcoming experience. We have used several other companies to rent cabins. However, this is the 2nd time we have used Cabins for YOU and we continue to use Cabins for You for our future rentals. We would definitely recommend this cabin and we look forward to visiting again."

We couldn't be happier to hear Bear Bottom Grotto provided everything you needed for a romantic getaway! With the beautiful decor and comfortable accommodations, not to mention the fabulous grotto and hot tub, we're so glad your visit to the Smokies was pleasant and relaxing. We appreciate your recommendation and are already looking forward to hosting you again in the future!

  • "Clean and good customer support"

  • "Absolutely loved the cabin we stayed in (Bear bottom grotto). Had a great experience! We will definitely use cabinsforyou.com again for our next getaway."

  • "The wife and I booked a stay with Cabins for you at the Bear Bottom Grotto Cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tn. We stayed 3 nights and the cabin exceeded our expectations. It was clean and all the amenities were great. The cabin was surrounded by woods, had a private outdoor hot tub, and also a jacuzzi in the upstairs bedroom. Another upside is your less than 5 minutes from the strip in Pigeon Forge. The only downside is the parking, if you want “easy” parking you can park at the bottom and walk the steps up to the cabin. If you want easier walking up to the cabin you can park on top of the hill but when we were there the drive was narrow and washed out, so it made it a little bit of a challenge to park at the upper level. However, the parking inconvenience wasn’t enough of an issue for me to take away a star from my review. If you’re looking for a quaint romantic getaway with your spouse or partner I would highly recommend Bear Bottom Grotto."

  • "Bear Bottom Grotto was everything we had dreamed of! Super clean, great location, excellent customer service!"

  • "Loved it! It was just like the pictures! It was so cozy an welcoming, we will definitely be coming back!"

  • "We loved our Bear grotto cabin however, the heart shape tub was great but the water was only hot for maybe 1/4 of the tub. The hot tub didn't seem as warm as the temperature showed. The weather was cool but not cold so the hot tub should of held the temperature. Everything was great!!"

  • "This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in close to strip and very clean"

  • "This cabin was everything we expected and more! We were very pleased with the cleanliness, location, privacy and overall weekend stay!"

  • "The cabin was beautiful but was suprised that the blinds in almost every window were broke and not replaced. Would stay here again but for the money paid the cosmetic things should be fixed"

  • "Beautiful property, we had a wonderful time, the grotto was our favorite..even though the weather got a bit chilly we were still able to enjoy rhe grotto..a small firepit or patio heater would've been nice out there, but over all can't complain I'd definitely come back."

  • "Our vacation spot was perfect. It wasn’t too far into the mountains, which made it very easy for us. Our cabin was very clean up to date and we were very happy. We will definitely be renting from them again I love the membership we get when we come we get free attraction tickets for things that are going on and I love that part. It was my birthday, so we also got a discount for our cabin which is also wonderful. Thank you"

  • "Me and my fiancé absolutely loved our anniversary stay in the Bear Bottom Grotto cabin. Very beautiful and very clean. The booking, checkin, and checkout process was all very easy. The cabin was easy access to many attractions, shopping, and fun places to eat. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub were amazing! We can’t wait for our next stay with Cabins For You."

  • "Great location, nice clean cabin Only drawback was parking and lots of stairs."

  • "The cabin was very clean very nice and so nice and cozy. My husband and I went for our fifth year anniversary, and we absolutely fell in love with that cabin. The name was “ Bear bottom grotto “ we will definitely be booking again with the same cabin"
