Set in the Mountain Shadows Resort of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Above and Beyond is a pet-friendly 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin with space for up to 12 guests and lots of amenities to keep everyone happy! Feel right at home with plenty of conveniences — plus some fun extras at this great Gatlinburg getaway. The entry level of Above & Beyond features 2 equally large and impressive primary bedrooms. Each bedroom has a king-size bed, its own private bath, and a jetted tub — which means no more discussion over who gets the primary bedroom! The cabin also boasts 6 TVs with cable, free Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, along with parking for 3 vehicles — and extra if needed.

Spend days at Above and Beyond shooting pool, watching movies with the DVD player and big screen TV, and unwinding while using the wireless high-speed internet. You can cozy up in front of the gas fireplace, toss some burgers on the gas grill, and relax in the rocking chairs on laid-back days around the cabin. Your pup will be right at your feet as you soak in those wooded views or curl up on the sofa. Wooded and seasonal mountain views are peaceful, and the outdoor hot tub is the place to end the night. 

At night, climb into bed with 2 king-size beds in the large suites (with jetted tubs), 1 queen-size bed, 2 twin-size beds, and 2 queen-size sleeper sofas for more space. This pet-friendly cabin in Gatlinburg also features a CD player, TVs in the bedrooms, seasonal mountain views, and resort pool access for those sunny summer days. In fact, Above & Beyond is located less than 300 feet from one of the resorts’ swimming pools and waterfall!

Living Room
Open concept and cozy, the living room at this charming Gatlinburg cabin boasts plump sofas, a cool log coffee table, a stone (gas) fireplace, and a soaring ceiling. Plop on the couch for a rest after exploring Anakeesta or shopping all afternoon in town. Set out drinks and snacks on the coffee table for movie nights with the big screen TV and DVD player. And set up Fido’s bed just by your feet to keep your fur baby close. The living room is a great space to unwind and hang out together on your Smoky Mountain vacation.

Kitchen
Enter the front door and pop straight into the kitchen where you can store groceries, cook homemade meals, grab snacks, bake treats, and whiz up midday margaritas! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including minor and major appliances (even a dishwasher), a double sink, pots and pans, dishware, glasses, cooking utensils, and cutlery. It’s also open to the living area so you can keep conversations going while preparing food for your group. 

Dining Area
Nestled into the kitchen space is the dining area that offers a large wooden table with bench and chair seating to accommodate many at mealtimes. When not used for eating, the table is a great place to set up a homeschool or work station, arts and crafts for the kiddos, or board and card games you brought from home or bought in town.

Rec Room
Venture into the spacious rec room that features a pool table where you can play friendly rounds anytime. Relax on the sofa or chairs around the room with entertainment on the big screen TV and your dog by your side. Around the corner is a daybed-style cushioned area where you can chill out with a friend and chat for a while with a glass of wine from Sugarland Cellars. There’s even a classic writing desk in the rec space for avid writers or those needing a separate workspace while away.

Bedrooms
With space to sleep up to 12 guests, Above and Beyond boasts 4 bedrooms, including 2 spacious primary suites! The 2 main bedrooms each feature a king-size bed, an indoor jetted tub, armchairs, a TV, and a private bathroom. Unwind with a spa bath every evening or morning and enjoy sweet sleep under your smooth king sheets. Additionally, downstairs awaits 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with 2 twin-size beds. There are also 2 queen-size sleeper sofas for extra sleeping space.

Outdoor Spaces
Pull up the paved driveway to the parking area for around 3 vehicles to reach your pet-friendly cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. With only 5 steps up to reach the front, unpacking and loading the cars won’t be a problem. Best of all, Above and Beyond boasts peaceful tree-studded views and even seasonal mountain views (best seen in winter) with peaks poking through the trees. You can enjoy nature from the balcony or the main deck. Sway in the rockers with morning coffee or evening moonshine, soak tired muscles in the hot tub after trekking with llamas, and fire up the gas grill for a cookout to enjoy at the outdoor table.

Other Amenities
Along with the many entertaining and relaxing amenities, Above and Beyond provides more conveniences, like high speed Wi-Fi to stay connected, a washer/dryer to reuse towels and toss in loads as needed, and a CD player to boogie! 

Perhaps the best feature of this 4-bedroom cabin in Gatlinburg is that it’s pet friendly, so you don’t have to worry about finding a sitter, paying for boarding, or leaving behind your furry family members. They can come along to check out pet-friendly places and hikes, take in all the new smells and sounds, and keep you company while on vacation in the Smokies.

Community Amenities
One of Gatlinburg’s premier log cabin resorts, Mountain Shadows Resort is minutes from downtown, the main entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Rocky Top Sports World, the Gatlinburg Community Center and Library, and Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Guests can enjoy visiting Ober Gatlinburg for skiing, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, and area attractions. Located in the heart of the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, it features paved roads, underground utilities, and city water. 

Enjoy 2 swimming pools (May 1 – Oct 1), a basketball goal, a horseshoe pit, and a pavilion. In fact, this pet-friendly cabin is super close to one of the pools with a waterfall! And it’s not unusual for guests to see bears, elk, and other wildlife. As a guest at the cabin, you can also reserve the Resort Pavilion for weddings, family reunions, and other special events on a first-come, first-served basis.

Local Fun
Nearby, take advantage of golfing, trout fishing, mountain climbing and hiking, picnicking, and horseback riding in Gatlinburg, TN — around 3 miles from Above and Beyond. You’ll also be close to beautiful waterfalls, mountain streams, hiking and walking trails, great food, outlet shopping, and music and comedy shows in the area!

The nearby community center offers a large, heated swimming pool (year-round), bowling, exercise equipment, racquetball, ping pong, indoor basketball, and more for a small fee. There is also a park next door with a walking and running track!

Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community
Find unique souvenirs around this 8-mile loop that harbors the largest group of independent artisans in the nation. You can chat with local craftsmen and bring home a few one-of-a-kind pieces as gifts for family and friends.

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
Filled to the brim with underwater life, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is a great place to stretch your legs and visit Nemos, sharks, penguins, moon jellies, rays, and more ocean critters. They even offer special experiences, like meeting Sally the sea turtle.

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp
Pile up the pancakes, add buttered wheatberry toast, munch on Cherokee sweet corn pone, and finish off your meal with a cup of hot coffee at Crockett’s Breakfast Camp, a great local restaurant that serves Southern-style food for breakfast. 

Resort pool access is provided and managed through the Mountain Shadows Resort Homeowners Association. Cabins for YOU is not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. Pool use is only for owners and their guests. Pools are open May 1 – October 1 for cabin guests.
