Description

Cozy up among the trees in your peaceful retreat — A Smoky Mountain Dream come true! Located in the Mountain Shadows Resort of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, A Smoky Mountain Dream boasts resort pool access for those sunny summer days. This charming studio cabin is located directly across from one of the resort’s swimming pools and waterfall! Back at the cabin, you’ll find 1 studio bedroom, 1 bathroom, and space for up to 4 guests for relaxing family getaways or weekends with a few friends.

Start mornings with a cup of coffee on the deck as you enjoy the serene wooded views, curl up on the sofa in front of the large stone (gas) fireplace on cool mountain evenings, flip on the TV mounted on the fireplace, pop a movie in the DVD player, or relax with a soothing bath in the indoor jetted tub. Outside, the hot tub on the deck is calling for a perfect evening soothing those tired muscles after busy days downtown or in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

On nice days, toss burgers or kabobs on the gas grill for cookouts or enjoy a meal at the table on the deck — with your pup at your side at this pet-friendly cabin. A Smoky Mountain Dream also boasts high-speed wireless internet, motorcycle- and camper-friendly parking in the private paved driveway for 2 vehicles, and 2 twin rollaway beds for more sleeping space beyond the king-size bed. Plus, you can make homemade meals in the fully equipped kitchen!

Living Room

Featuring exposed log beams, large windows letting in natural light and views of the lovely trees, and an imposing stone (gas) fireplace, the living room at A Smoky Mountain Dream is an inviting space to hang out together. Watch your favorite DVDs — comedy, horror, romance, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, or action — come to life on the flatscreen TV above the fireplace. Enjoy a restful nap on the sofa or a tea break in the armchair. And sip marshmallow-filled hot chocolate or bust open a bottle of local red to enjoy by a crackling fire in fall and winter months at the cabin. The living room at this studio cabin is also perfect for reading new books, catching up with friends, and kicking back after playing mini-golf, exploring a haunted house, or shopping along the Parkway.

Kitchen

When you want to grab a bite but don’t feel like heading into town, why not cook up your favorite dishes using the provided tools and appliances (yes, there’s even a dishwasher) in your cabin’s kitchen? Fully equipped with everything you need to prep and serve meals, including dishes, glasses, and cutlery, this kitchen is handy for those wanting to pack light and save cash for more fun in the Smokies. All you need to bring are fresh ingredients and a hearty appetite! Of course, you can always reheat leftovers in the microwave and keep snacks and drinks on hand as well.

Dining Area

The dining area is nestled right by the kitchen to act as extra counter space when needed. Plus, it keeps seconds and dessert well within reach! The dining table is round with seating for 4. Set up your own personal spread, a romantic dinner for 2, or a yummy family meal. After meals, clear the space for board or card games brought from home or a crafts center for the kids. You can also set up a laptop for work or homeschooling.

Studio Bedroom

Studio-style, the bedroom space at A Smoky Mountain Dream is cozy and inviting, with nightstands, lamps, and a custom king-size bed. You can flip on the TV for entertainment in bed, switch on the lamps to read or chat for a while, and admire the tree-studded views. Before slipping away to dreamland, we recommend drawing yourself a hot bath in the indoor jetted tub a few steps away. It’s ideally paired with a fun podcast or soothing music, a few lit candles, and bubbles or a bath bomb. There are also 2 twin-size rollaway beds for extra guests or kids plus a full bathroom where you can take a nice shower and get ready for bed or downtown adventures, like partying at Ole Red or defeating an escape room.

Outdoor Spaces

Pull up the flat, paved driveway with parking for 2 vehicles (including room for a trailer) that’s also motorcycle/camper friendly to reach your cozy studio cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. With a semi-private location, you can enjoy the serene wooded views in peace here. Unwind with a soak in the bubbly hot tub on the covered back deck. There’s also a breakfast table where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the mornings or enjoy meals outside together.
