39th Annual Craftmen’s Fair

Located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this annual crafting event is fun for all! Held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, it’s hosted by talented local artisans and craftsmen. As you drive through town on the way to or from your Smoky Mountain cabin rental, you won’t miss the convention center, located at stop light #8 on the Parkway.

This exciting local event will be held July 18-27. Admission to attend the Craftsmen’s Fair is only $6, and children 12 and under are FREE. It’s a great budget-friendly activity for the whole family. Kids will love walking around and watching the area craftsmen create their one-of-a-kind goods. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair also features live music daily, and admission for the fair covers the cost of all the concerts. Concert times are 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. daily.

Performing a mixture of country, gospel, and bluegrass music, talented artists Tim Watson and Dennis Lee will give fair-goers a toe-tapping good time! You’ll find entertainment, excitement, and tons of great souvenirs and keepsakes as you shop around at this beloved local event.

Featuring thousands of unique items, the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is a showcase of beautiful handmade goods. You’ll find pottery, handmade soaps, hand-stitched quilts, bowls, vases, paintings, furniture, and more! Among the almost 200 booths at the fair, you’ll come across some of nation’s finest work.

As you browse and buy, enjoy the Smoky Mountain charm. Vendors are happy to answer any questions you have, including how they craft their goods, what inspires them, how they got started, and where they source their materials from. Enjoy spending hours here and shopping for that unique item that you will treasure for years to come!

At the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair, you’ll find something for everyone on your list back home, without breaking the bank. Pick up some handmade dishes for mom, grab a few candles or bath products that make great last-minute gifts, or shop ahead to beat the impending Christmas crowds!
