Description

Live like royalty when you stay at Summit Castle in the Great Smoky Mountains. This 6-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom, 4,740 square-foot cabin offers breathtaking mountain scenery and features top-notch amenities. Arrive under the large awning, unpack the cars with ease, and step into a new world, filled with memorable moments to come as you enjoy the perks of a large group cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN.

On cool eves, switch on the gas fireplace, brew a pot of joe, and plop on the living room sofas for a cozy chat. Better yet, head outdoors to the steamy hot tub to soothe tired muscles from the day’s hike in the national park or gather the kiddos for s’mores around the crackling firepit. And for those looking for a little more excitement, play games in the rec spaces that boast air hockey, pool, a flatscreen Multicade with classics (like Pac-Man and Galaga), Pop-A-Shot Basketball, poker, and mini foosball! Any movie buffs in the cabin? Enjoy DVDs on the big screen TV with plush theater-style seating!

With large groups, the kitchen is a game changer, and Summit Castle does it so right. Mealtimes are made easy here with double all major appliances (including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dishwashers), plenty of pots and pans, plus plates, silverware, glasses, and more! Fully equipped, this kitchen is more than ready to serve families, friends, coworkers, and teammates. And the dining space offers 2 log picnic tables plus outdoor seating, which combine with the kitchen’s breakfast bar to give everyone their own space to enjoy meals and snacks. Additionally, Summit Castle harbors 6.5 bathrooms and provides a washer/dryer plus complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi to make stays easier and more comfortable for your group.

At night, guests can enjoy space for several couples, a group of friends, a team, or multiple families. There are 5 king-size bedroom suites with en-suite bathrooms, and a bunk room sleeps 8. Daybeds across the cabin are great for kids who love to sleep in the same room as the parents, and there are also futons for more space. For guests' comfort, we recommend sleeping no more than 14 adults here, but the cabin can accommodate up to 20 total (including kids, teens, and adults who can sleep on the futons, bunks, and daybeds).

*Guests must be at least 25 years old to book this cabin. By booking, you agree you have met this requirement.

Living Room
Inviting and spacious, the living room at Summit Castle will enchant as the Great Smoky Mountains stream through the massive windows from floor to high ceiling. Once able to look away from the mountain majesty, the grand stone (gas) fireplace will certainly catch your eye, followed by the plump sofas and lovely cabin touches. Unwind with entertainment on the big screen TV, a favorite read by the toasty fire, or a chat with a glass of wine in the evenings. It’s also a great space to gather everyone in the mornings to discuss the day’s plan for fun in town or the national park.

Kitchen
Step between the log posts and into the fully equipped double kitchen — featuring 2 full-size refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, 2 toasters, plus a Keurig and a coffeepot! With twice the counterspace and sleek appliances plus pots and pans, cookware, dinnerware, mugs, and more, preparing meals for your large group won’t be a hassle. Add the beautiful mountain views streaming from the windows nearby, and the chefs and bakers in your group won’t be able to resist cooking and serving homemade dishes and desserts! Whip up bountiful breakfasts, lunch spreads, delectable dinners, midnight snacks, and Colombian brews in record time. There’s even an extended counter with 6 log bar stools, so taste testers can cling close to all the yummy stuff!

Dining Area
Sit down for meals together in the dining area just off the kitchen, which boasts a 9-foot, picnic-table-style log table plus a round one to match with bench seating. With the additional 6 kitchen bar stools and outdoor dining table for 6 just through the door, everyone can eat and chat comfortably. Aside from meals, the dining area is perfect for playing board or card games brought from home or bought in town, setting out arts and crafts for the kids, checking emails, editing photos, or finally starting your blog with a piece on your awesome experience at Summit Castle!

Rec Room
It’s game time at the cabin — and Summit Castle delivers with multiple rec spaces! Head upstairs to the loft for a pool table party or exciting rounds of poker. Here, you can also take a closer look at the castle tower with terrific Smoky Mountain views and unwind on the futon with entertainment on the mounted big screen TV.

And just down the way awaits a sitting room with captivating mountain scenes all around, a flatscreen TV, and a desk space. It’s a nice area to hold meetings or escape for a little quiet. Plus, it can expand into another space with another futon and a coffee table that doubles as a fun foosball field!

Downstairs, shoot hoops with the Pop-A-Shot Basketball arcade game, beat the highest scores of classics, like Frogger, Pac-Man, and Galaga, on the flatscreen Multicade, and challenge friends to air hockey matches! There’s even a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator to keep snacks and drinks close while you play.

Theater Room
Movie night is every night at Summit Castle — with a big screen TV and plush theater-style seating in the theater room! Pass around bowls of buttery popcorn, grab a pillow from your room, plant your favorite soda pop in the drink holder, and settle in for action, comedy, romance, thrills, and drama on the big screen. There are also a few floor chairs for extra seating the kids and kids at heart will appreciate.

Bedrooms
Bedtime never looked cozier for up to 20 people (up to 14 adults or up to 20 including kids and adults who can sleep on the bunks, futons, and daybeds) at Summit Castle, where 6 bedrooms offer comfort and peace to guests.

Bedrooms include 5 king suites with attached full bathrooms and a bunk room that can sleep 8. There are daybeds in several bedrooms to accommodate more friends or kids who want to stay in the room with parents, and there are also futons for more space.

Outdoor Spaces
Summit Castle is a top choice for enjoying the great outdoors in Pigeon Forge. There’s a firepit with seating for roasting marshmallows, a bubbly hot tub for soothing tired muscles, rocking chairs to rest with rolling mountain views for miles, an outdoor dining area for meals and chats in nature, and a gas grill for cabin cookouts.

Upon arrival, admire the modern castle-esque architecture, complete with stone tower. Pull up the flat, paved driveway with parking for 6 vehicles (strict limit as street parking is not permitted) and onto the unique, stamped concrete floor underneath the massive stone and log awning. And unpack the cars with ease, only taking 3 steps onto the porch and into your cabin home.

Other Amenities
Large groups certainly need access to high-speed Wi-Fi to keep in touch with family, check work emails, and read Smoky Mountain Musings, and Summit Castle offers it as a free service. Additionally, a washer and dryer set provides a homey convenience to stay on top of laundry while you’re away, which also means you can pack light this trip.

Reviews for Summit Castle

  • "You don't even need to leave this house, it has everything. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, anything you might need to cook up a storm, which the 13 of us did with plenty of room to move around. We enjoyed the views while sipping cocktails on the porch. Went to the theater and watched some scary movies, also got in a couple games of pool and poker. The house is clean and has top notch furnishings, we would rent again without question!"
