Need to slow down a bit? Take a break at the secluded Snail’s Pace Chalet, peacefully situated among the trees in the private, gated Shagbark community. As you step inside this 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin for up to 12 guests, you’ll be greeted by a wall of windows stretching to the ceiling, letting tons of natural light flood the living room. You’ll spend days cozied up on the sofas set around the big screen TV, chatting in front of the gas fireplace, or napping in the sunshine flowing in between attraction hopping in downtown Pigeon Forge.

A great game room features its own fireplace, comfy seating, a coffee table for snacks and drinks, and plenty of entertainment to keep adults and kids happy here. Challenge someone to foosball, have some fun with air hockey, or flip on the TV and just hang out. In the fully equipped kitchen, find the appliances and counter space you need to make meals for family and friends. You can also toss burgers on the charcoal grill outside for a fun cookout.

If you appreciate packing light, take advantage of the washer/dryer in the cabin. Each bedroom has its own TV, and bedding throughout the cabin includes 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 twin trundle daybed, and 1 sleeper sofa. There is also a hot tub for relaxing on the deck and community amenities which include a pool, walking trail, and playground for the kiddos!

Living Room
Oohs and aahs can be heard as the stunning windows from floor to ceiling draw your attention to the attractive valley views. As you step into the living space to take in the scenery, admire the raised ceiling with exposed wood beams, hardwood floors throughout the open concept space, and the stacked stone (gas) fireplace that ties it all together. The sitting area features a luxe sofa and matching armchair, where you can spend quality time with loved ones…and coffee. The table is great for simple card games or munchies paired with entertainment on the big screen TV across the way. And when evenings are a bit chilly, light a toasty fire to make the space extra cozy — cabin style.

Kitchen
In the open living space, find the kitchen only steps from the seating area. It’s fully equipped with all the tools and appliances you’ll need to prepare and serve meals at the cabin and even features bar seating for 6 around the spacious counters. Keep fresh ingredients in the fridge, heat stews, stir fries, and soups on the stove, and bake homemade biscuits in the oven. The double sink is handy for washing fruits and veggies or dishes, the microwave is handy for reheating leftovers, and the coffeemaker comes in handy for multiple brews throughout your days and nights here.

Dining Area
Steps from the kitchen awaits the roomy dining area with a sleek black table that has seating for 6. Combined with the bar seating nearby and optional space in the living area, everyone will have a comfy place to eat and relax together. Best of all, meals will be enjoyed with the Smoky Mountain valley scene through the reaching windows that let in tons of natural light throughout the day. And it’s a great area to catch up with friends or a good book, sip coffee with a sweet treat, or set out a board game bought in town or brought from home.

Rec Room
Get ready to have a blast day after day and night after night in the fun rec room downstairs at this 4-bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge! Challenge friends and family to foosball tournaments or exciting air hockey matches. Big windows keep the space bright and let in the Smoky Mountain trees, and the stone (gas) fireplace is a welcome extra to keep the room warm and cozy when it’s cool. Plop on the sofa, kick back on the armchair with ottoman, flip on the big screen TV, and hang with your best pals and a show. Snacks from the kitchen and games from home go well on the tree style coffee table, and the day bed offers extra seating space for players.

Bedrooms
This 4-bedroom cabin for up to 12 guests in Pigeon Forge offers a mix of 2 kings, 2 queens, 1 queen sleeper, and 1 twin trundle daybed for guests to rest and recharge. Each bedroom comes with a flatscreen TV for entertainment in bed, and there are 2 indoor jetted tubs for relaxing spa baths at the cabin, best paired with bubbles, scented candles, and soothing tunes. There are 2 queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom, and 2 king suites with their own private en-suite bathrooms.

Outdoor Spaces
Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountain trees, Snail’s Pace Chalet is completely secluded so you can take it easy without noisy neighbors or cars. The valley views are beautiful, and each season brings new sights — from springtime blooms and summer greenery to colorful leaves and wintry peaks. Just take the paved, steep, and curvy driveway to escape to this Gatlinburg cabin for a while.

Enjoy the fresh mountain air on the expanded sundeck with rocking chair seating. It’s a great spot to catch some sun, count stars, and chat with family. And if rain’s in the way, head to the covered deck below. The decks wrap around with more seating, and a gas grill is perfect for mountain cookouts. The lower level deck even leads to a cozy hot tub area with trees all around, great for soaking in the Smokies.

This Gatlinburg cabin offers addition amenities to make your stays more comfortable and fun. Keep up with laundry with the provided washer and dryer set, take advantage of Wi-Fi in the cabin, and hang at the community pool in summer, talk the walking trail anytime, and let the kids get out their wiggles on the playground in the Shagbark community.

With a convenient and secluded location in Pigeon Forge, Snail’s Pace Chalet invites guests who want to get away from it all yet still have access to downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops throughout their stays. Enjoy dinner and comedy shows, play miniature golf, beat high scores at arcades, defeat escape games, dine on Southern favs, and shop for hours on end at the many unique boutiques! And if you’re up for adventure, head to nearby Gatlinburg and into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, and picnic by the dazzling mountain waters.
