How the cabin got its name… During construction of this cabin, the workers arrived to begin their day and discovered that a black bear had decided to take a nap on the sunny lower deck of the cabin! Apparently, he was in no hurry to leave this paradise cabin, with its view of the mountains, woods, and gentle stream at the base of the hill. Eventually, he sauntered down the property and into the woods to the west of the property.
We hope you too may enjoy this cabin as a place to relax, unwind, and maybe take a nap yourself! The area is a great place to reconnect with both nature and family and friends…a home away from life’s distractions. Who knows – you may get a glimpse of the sleepy bear!
