Welcome to Sleepy Bear Lodge! No detail has been missed in this luxurious 2-story, brand-new (2019) build with 3 primary suites, 3 ½ bathrooms, and a semi-secluded location. This new log home is opening just in time for December vacationers! From its close proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg attractions, easily accessible entrance with flat driveway and ample parking, and accommodations for up to 10 guests to its well-furnished kitchen, relaxing family room with a view of the mountains, and 11-person swim spa on the lower deck, the Sleepy Bear Lodge experience is sure to make it your ultimate Smoky Mountain vacation destination.
Living Area
On the entry level, Sleepy Bear Lodge has a ½ bath for your convenience, along with the warm and cozy gas fireplace, plush leather furniture, and an open and inviting floorplan. Imagine yourself cuddling up to watch your favorite movie or sporting events on the 65-inch HDTV with Blu-ray player or enjoying the peaceful and relaxing views of the mountains and woods from inside the cabin. You’ll also find the sleeper sofa here for extra guests.
Kitchen
The modern, fully equipped kitchen of Sleepy Bear Lodge features hickory cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cookware and tableware to provide an inviting space for the chef in your group.
Bedrooms
The entry level of the cabin boasts a private primary suite with an incredible king-size bed, dresser, 43-inch flatscreen HDTV with Blu-ray player, and closet. On the covered deck accessible here, find comfortable deck chairs where you can relax.
The lower level has 2 primary suites with awesome king-size beds, dressers, 43-inch flatscreen HDTVs with DVD players, closets, and comfortable deck chairs on the middle deck, immediately accessible from each bedroom.
Outdoor Spaces
Head outside to 1 of 3 covered decks with ceiling fans to keep you comfortable as you catch the evening sunsets. The large covered deck features a gas grill and outdoor furniture for those peaceful late afternoon snacks or dinners out on the deck.
Rec Spaces
Travel downstairs where the real fun begins! The lower level features several fun-filled amenities, including a 70-inch HDTV and Blu-ray player with plenty of movies for your viewing pleasure during your stay, a foosball table, air hockey, and a multicade featuring over 60 games to challenge even the most seasoned gamer!
Swim Spa
For those interested in an early swim or just wanting to bubble their stress away, head to the third deck and get in an early swim workout or enjoy a large group relax session in the 11-person swim spa. As you unwind, stargaze or watch your favorite sporting event on the large outdoor TV – all while soaking in the spa.
Other Amenities
Gorgeous tile and wood floors run throughout the all-wood cabin, and an extra sleeper sofa is located on the lower level. Sleepy Bear Lodge also features a washer/dryer (lower level) for your convenience.
How the cabin got its name…
During construction of this cabin, the workers arrived to begin their day and discovered that a black bear had decided to take a nap on the sunny lower deck of the cabin! Apparently, he was in no hurry to leave this paradise cabin, with its view of the mountains, woods, and gentle stream at the base of the hill. Eventually, he sauntered down the property and into the woods to the west of the property.
We hope you too may enjoy this cabin as a place to relax, unwind, and maybe take a nap yourself! The area is a great place to reconnect with both nature and family and friends…a home away from life’s distractions. Who knows – you may get a glimpse of the sleepy bear!

"Beautiful space. It looks way better in person. This place is isolated and right up in the mountains so if you're looking to be alone this is the perfect spot for you. The view is also amazing. I have teenage boys and they thoroughly enjoyed the game room. There were plenty of air hockey tournaments at night. This will be my go to spot from now on!"

"We stayed at the sleepy bear cabin for 3 wonderful days. The cabin looks exactly like the pictures on the website. It comes equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and a wonderful game room and family space down stairs. The view is half mountains and half wooded but very nice. The unit is spacious and beautiful. The road to the cabin is curvy and steep but just take your time and it will be fine . The road is totally paved and smooth. I loved being able to go straight to the cabin at check in. No need to go to the office and get keys. The keypad is very convenient. I will most definitely be back."

"My family loved our time at sleep bear cabin. The cabin was very spacious and we enjoyed every bedroom having their own bathroom. The large hot tub was the perfect size for our group of 5. The view from the deck was awesome - especially at sunset. This was in a great location which was secluded but still had a few neighbors and was close to town. "Cabins for You has been the place we have rented from for the past several years. There is literally something for everyone. Every single cabin we have had (new one everytime haven't found that perfect one yet but it came close this year) is clean and well stocked with the stuff we need for our stay like toilet paper, trash bags, coffee pot, pots and pan and so much more. I honestly can't think of any major issues in any of these cabins. We will continue to book off of cabins for you whenever we return as either a family of 4 or as a couple."

How and when do I pay?
- If your arrival date is more than 120 days out:
- - 15% of the balance is due now, half of the balance is due at 120 days and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is between 31 and 120 days out:
- - Half of the total is due now and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is less than or equal to 30 days out:
- - Your entire balance is due at booking.

Our Property Protection Plans cover unintentional damages to your cabin during your stay and different levels of protection.
- $54 = $1500 in coverage / No security deposit
- $84 = $2000 in coverage / No security deposit

What do additional fees cover?
We want to ensure each guest has a clean, comfortable place to stay. The additional fees cover property cleanup of your cabin once you’ve checked out, reservation fee, taxes and service fee.

What is your cancellation policy?
4+ bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 6 months of stay.
1-3 bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 3 months of stay.
CFY offers cancellation protection that allows you to cancel your reservation at any point prior to initial use of your key code on your arrival date. Please see details when checking out.
Do you have any pet friendly cabins?
Yes, we have quite a few options for pet-friendly vacations! Check out our wide selection online!
What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
- 1 trash bag per container
- 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
- 1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
What’s provided in the kitchen?

Do all your cabins have Wi-Fi?
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
- Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
- Put trash in proper containers
- Clean used dishes
- Clean any large messes made during stay
- Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will have the directions to your cabin rental.

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
CFY Quality Rating System
Bronze
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.

Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
