Description

Slip away for Peaceful Times at this classic log cabin in the Gatlinburg Falls Resort — Parkview. Gorgeous tree-studded and seasonal mountain views set the backdrop for a great getaway in the Smoky Mountains. Spend days enjoying the views, soaking up the serenity of nature, and staying comfortable with plenty of amenities inside and out. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this 8-guest cabin is perfectly suited for a family vacation or fun getaway with friends!

Guests will love king-size beds at night, and there are 2 queen sleeper sofas if you have a full house. Relax by the gas
fireplace as you watch resort cable on the TV or read a book on the comfy sofa or plush chair. Then whip up meals and snacks easily in the fully equipped kitchen nearby before sitting down at the table for 8 to eat or play board games and card games.

More entertainment is in the rec room, which features a media space, pool table, foosball table, and arcade games! Each bedroom also has its own TV, and there is internet in the cabin for your convenience. At the end of the day, climb into your own hot tub for soaks that will melt all those stresses away. And you’ll even have community pool access in the Gatlinburg Falls Resort!

Living Room
Get cozy and comfy in the living room at Peaceful Times that invites you to have a seat and spend time together. Keep snacks and drinks on the coffee table for evenings watching resort cable on the TV. The sofa even folds out into a queen-size sleeper for guests to spread out. It’s also a fun space for the kids to have a slumber party.

In the fall and winter months that feature lower temperatures and cold winds, enjoy warmer times in a classic mountain setting with a crackling fire in the fireplace. It pairs perfectly with mugs of marshmallow-topped hot cocoa, glasses of Tennessee Homemade Wine, a good friend, or a riveting book. You can also turn on the fireplace during chilly days to add to the cabin ambiance. In the space, there are windows framing the lovely trees and a ceiling fan to keep cool in warmer months. 

Kitchen
When tummies growl, it’s time to whip up something extra special to eat in the fully equipped kitchen that’s outfitted with everything you need to prepare and serve tasty meals, snacks, and drinks during your Smoky Mountain stay. Counter space is plentiful, major appliances are provided, and there’s a stainless steel double sink. You’ll also have plates, bowls, pots, pans, glasses, mugs, and cutlery to use. 

Brew pots of coffee anytime and brown bagels and bread slices in the toaster. Heat lunch or dinner on the stove and bake fresh goodies in the oven. Keep leftovers fresh in the fridge and store your favorite ice cream in the freezer. And whiz up evening cocktails in the blender. There’s even a handy dishwasher to make cleanups a breeze!

Dining Area
Ready to sit down for a meal together at your favorite Gatlinburg cabin rental? Peaceful Times extend into the dining area that boasts a large wooden table with 6 chairs. Since the main area is open concept, other guests or the kids can sit in the living room with entertainment on the TV if they wish. 

Between meals, you can clear the dining table for card and board games together, create a temporary work or homeschool space, or set up an arts and crafts station. The options are endless, so use the space as you see fit! Not to mention, you’ll have tree-studded views to enjoy through the large windows whenever you’re at the table.

Rec Room
In the large rec room, spread out, play games, and just hang out together. This space is meant to bring laughs, barrels of fun, and more good times to your Smoky Mountain vacation with family and friends. In the media area, unwind with a cold one on the sofa with entertainment on the TV or open a book to read to the kiddos in the recliner. The sofa here also doubles as a queen-size sleeper for extra space. 

If you’re in the mood to play, choose a winning team to enter the foosball field, shoot pool like a pro, or play arcade games that include Pac-Man and Galaga. Tournaments are encouraged for friendly competition, so feel free to keep score every day and crown a champion at the end of your stay. Winner gets to choose the last restaurant on your vacation!

Bedrooms
After sipping cocktails and partying at Ole Red Gatlinburg or spending a full day shopping in the Smokies, you’ll appreciate a comfortable and cozy place to rest at night. There are 2 inviting bedrooms at Peaceful Times — each with a king-size bed, a TV, a ceiling fan, woodsy views, and a cozy fireplace. 

Enjoy a hot shower in one of 2 full bathrooms, then put on your favorite PJs and slip away to dreamland in your king suite. Before sleeping, you can enjoy a good book with the fireplace going or catch up on a good show on TV. Remember there are also 2 queen-size sleepers in the home for added guests or the kids in the living room and game room.

Outdoor Spaces
At your 2-bedroom cabin in Gatlinburg, you can enjoy Peaceful Times chilling on the deck with friends and family. Seasonal mountain views peek through the towering trees in cooler months. You can soak tired muscles in the steamy hot tub with spa jets, hang out with your favorite book on the porch swing, or sway away your worries and cares with some moonshine in the rockers.

Enjoy an easier drive along flat, paved roads to reach the cabin’s flat, paved driveway with parking for 2 vehicles. There are only a couple of steps from the driveway to reach the front porch, so unpacking and loading the cars won’t be a hassle. You can also cook out on the charcoal, picnic-style grill!

Other Amenities
Nestled in Gatlinburg Falls Resortwithin the Parkview community, guests of Peaceful Times will have community access to an outdoor swimming pool in the summer. So if you’re visiting the Smokies in hotter months, don’t forget to pack your swimsuits for refreshing splashes in the resort! Also provided at the cabin at no extra charge is high speed Wi-Fi so you can stay connected if you wish.

Local Fun
Take an easy drive into downtown Gatlinburg for a fun time with family and friends. Play at local attractions that include an award-winning aquarium, an aerial adventure park, arcades, haunted houses, and family fun centers. Shop in a European-style setting in The Village, cruise the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, and grab sweets from Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen before grabbing a steak dinner alongside the Little Pigeon River.

Plus, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a hop, skip, and a jump away and offers some of the best outdoor activities around. You can hike to gorgeous waterfalls, make your way through the mountains with friendly llamas, ride horses through Cades Cove, fish and picnic by sparkling rivers, and take scenic drives.

For even more fun, scoot into Pigeon Forge not far down the road. Dollywood offers roller coasters, The Island is great for an all-day shopping spree, and Pigeon Forge Snow features snow tubing year-round! There are also dinner shows, pancake houses, and unique things to do, like zorbing or indoor skydiving.
