Description

Welcome to your cozy log cabin perched among the trees in the Smokies — aka your Mountain Retreat! A lovely front porch welcomes you in, with tree-studded views and tables where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Inside, the living room boasts soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a nice stone fireplace, and comfy seating for family and friends to gather to relax and reconnect. The 3-bedroom, 3½-bathroom cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN, has space for up to 12 guests, with the conveniences of home and plenty of fun cabin extras.

On cool mountain evenings, curl up by the gas fireplace, soak in the outdoor hot tub, or sip hot cocoa from the rocking chairs on the deck. When you’re hanging out around the cabin, head to the rec room where you can enjoy shooting pool on the pool table, playing arcade games, and taking advantage of the high-speed internet in the cabin.

You can whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, unwind in the jetted tub, watch TV in bed, fire up the charcoal grill for cookouts, and enjoy conveniences like the washer/dryer and a handicap-accessible bedroom/bathroom with 3-foot-wide doors and additional space at one sink. And if you have a full house, use the 2 queen sleepers, 1 full sleeper, and 1 futon for more sleeping space at this semi-private cabin in Pigeon Forge.

Living Room

Walk inside this beautiful log cabin to find an open and spacious interior brimming with light from towering windows stretching to the ceiling and framing lovely scenes of the peaceful trees. The living room is inviting and cozy with plenty of space to sprawl out and get comfy on the sofas and armchairs. Place treats and drinks on the coffee table to enjoy while chatting and watching entertainment on the flatscreen TV. There’s also a stone (gas) fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings under a warm blanket with a glass of wine in one hand and a favorite book in the other. It’s a great communal space where everyone can spend quality time together or slip away for a late-night read by the fire.

Kitchen

Fully equipped with everything you need — including stainless steel appliances and tons of counter space — to prep and serve homemade meals and snacks at the cabin, the kitchen at this 3-bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge is ideal for saving cash on meals and simply keeping tummies fed and happy throughout your vacation. Keep fresh ingredients in the refrigerator, rinse veggies and fruits in the double sink, preheat the oven for dessert, reheat restaurant leftovers in the microwave, brew heavenly blends in the coffeemaker, and let the dishwasher take care of the messes. There’s even bar seating at the counter for taste testers and helpers. 

Dining Area

Be seated at the beautiful log dining table mere steps from the kitchen. The table boasts chairs and benches to match, and it’s situated underneath a stunning multi-tiered antler chandelier that elevates your dining experience on your Mountain Retreat. Not to mention, the soaring windows extend into the dining area so guests can enjoy calming scenery with every meal, board game, and chat in the space.

Rec Room

It wouldn’t be a Mountain Retreat without fun and games, which you can enjoy in abundance in the cool rec room! Shoot pool together whenever and beat the highest scores on the arcade cabinet. You can also serve drinks and play cards at the bar in the kitchenette, which features a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, cupboards for storage, and a double sink. It’s convenient when you need to refuel while you play in the cabin. There’s also a flatscreen TV for entertainment, sofas and chairs to relax, and another gas fireplace to set the mountain mood. 

Bedrooms

When you’re ready to slip away for a quick nap (or a lengthy one), a quiet read, or sweet dreams for the night, this 3-bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge delivers in comfort and space. Each bedroom features a flatscreen TV, custom furnishings that include a king-size bed, and access to a full bathroom. One bedroom even has an electric (no heat) fireplace to make the room extra cozy and romantic. Another bedroom has an indoor jetted tub for spa baths that work well with a favorite podcast, flickering candles, and lots of bubbles! There’s also a half bathroom on the entry level for added convenience, and extra guests will appreciate the 2 queen-size sleeper sofas, 1 full-size sleeper sofa, and 1 futon to spread out and snooze in the home.

Outdoor Spaces

On the decks, you’ll find plenty of space to spread out among the trees. You can take in the wooded views from the rocking chairs and sitting areas dispersed around the decks. They make great places to sip morning coffee, afternoon tea, or evening wine. Best of all, there’s a steamy hot tub with massaging jets sure to help you relax and recharge after long days in town or the nearby national park. And there’s a charcoal, picnic-style grill out front, ideal for 

Arriving and departing your semi-private Mountain Retreat won’t be a hassle as the roads to and from the cabin are easier than most. Plus, the driveway is paved and motorcycle/camper friendly with parking for 4-5 vehicles (including room for a trailer), and there is a short ramp to reach the front porch instead of stairs. 

Other Amenities

Hop on the high-speed internet to browse local attractions, check emails, or video chat with relatives and friends. Mountain Retreat even provides a washer and dryer so you can pack light and take care of loads while away. There are also handicap features in the home that include the easy (and short) ramp from the parking area to the front porch plus a bedroom/bathroom combo with 3-foot-wide doors and additional space at one of the sinks. 

Local Fun

With an easy ride into town (about 10½ miles away), heading into Pigeon Forge to play at attractions, eat at local restaurants, and shop until you drop is a must on your trip...or at least a strong recommendation. Pigeon Forge is filled with amazing things to do that fun events, include skydiving indoors, playing lumberjack games, putt-putting on a rooftop, zooming around go-kart courses, riding mountain coasters, visiting an eagle enclosure at Dollywood, testing your ninja skills at TopJump, and snow tubing year-round! And if Southern dining is top of your to-do list, there is no better place to find fried everything, butter-riffic biscuits, and homemade candies.

Only a hop, skip, and a jump away, Gatlinburg is the neighboring town that harbors even more fun for all ages. You can duel zipline with a friend, stroll through an award winning aquarium, make your way through a haunted mansion, dine riverside, pick up a few one-of-a-kind pieces in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, and walk across the continent’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge! Plus, there’s an entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can horseback ride, hike, picnic, cycle, and fish.
