Living Room
You’ll know immediately once you step inside how It’s Good N Da Woods Lodge got its name. The open, airy feel of this cabin’s living room—with its up-to-date style, open-concept design, high ceilings, and charming wall of windows—creates a welcoming impression of the Smoky Mountains for you and your guests. For seating inside the living room, you’ll find 2 leather couches, a leather loveseat, and an oversized leather chair. This is the kind of plush seating you can just sink right into after a long day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or an afternoon of riding roller coasters at Dollywood.
Also in this large group lodge are 2 end tables and a large black coffee table, where you can set out your favorite snacks like veggies and dip or a bowl of Puppy Chow (look up the recipe if you’ve never tried this—yum!). If you’re in the mood to sit before a warm fire and visit with friends, you can do this, too, in It’s Good N Da Woods Lodge. The stone fireplace is 1 of 3 in this cabin (there are 2 gas fireplaces and 1 wood-burning fireplace). Finally, above the fireplace is a flatscreen TV and DVD player that you are welcome to use for a relaxing night in the cabin with the gang.
Kitchen
If you’re preparing meals or trays of snacks for your large group, you’re going to need a large enough kitchen to make them in, and you’ll find exactly that in It’s Good N Da Woods Lodge. With its 2 long benches and extra chair, you should be able to fit most if not all of your group at this table. But if you need more space, simply use the additional stools located at the breakfast bar, which is connected to the kitchen.
One of the best features of this dining room is that it’s nestled between 2 walls with large windows that overlook the Smoky Mountain trees. These are views you won’t find in a Pigeon Forge restaurant downtown, so take advantage of your private dining space in It’s Good N Da Woods Lodge. Even if you’re not planning on eating in the cabin, you can always use this dining space as the perfect setting for a card tournament or board games on rainy afternoons.
