Dining Area

"Cabin was great and Mountain View fantastic. They were a little behind with cleaning and called to let us know which was fine as we weren’t going to arriving right at 4 pm. They have a little care package with essentials in it upon arrival just wished it had tissues and some laundry pods too as we forgot to bring those with us. Note the drive is in the mountains and some hills pretty steep so just make sure you have a good vehicle that can handle the inclines. Upstairs bed was very firm and kids seemed fine with the downstairs beds. Lighting was poor upstairs but think they just need some light bulbs and batteries for the remotes. WiFi worked perfectly for the 18 and 22 year old kids.They loved all the game options in the basement as there were many choices. Bumper pool was used the most. Many many dishes available for cooking and baking so you won’t need to bring any. Not much storage for your own supplies but if you don’t stay long and buy much (we over did it) you’ll be good. Will need to bring water as there is no filter on the Fridge. Water tasted fine we just prefer it filtered or a separate drinking fountain. We loved our stay and hope to be able to come again."

Even with all the details and videos that the company provided, I still wasn’t prepared for the drive up the mountain side to the cabin. 😂 The company was very helpful, and responded quickly to the two concerns that we had. "We had a fantastic experience. Our cabin (Homestead Hideaway) was clean and had a lot of space for our whole family to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the views were gorgeous! There was an old school arcade table that our kids loved playing and the adults loved the hot tub close by. The check in and check out process were both very easy to follow. "My friends and I stayed at Homestead Hideaway, and it was a fantastic cabin with an amazing view. We definitely created memories there that we will never forget. It was the most fun we’ve had in a long time. The staff were extremely kind, and checking in and out was extremely simple. I would absolutely stay again sometime if I had that opportunity. Definitely worth the trip to Tennessee. I highly recommend staying if you want to have a nice peaceful time away. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg are also in the area too if you’re into touristy things. Dollywood and local restaurants and bars are also nearby."
