The Tours
When you’re planning a vacation to the Smoky Mountains, you’re probably keeping a budget in mind. Thankfully, Smoky Mountain Ziplines is thinking about your budget as well. As the largest course in Pigeon Forge (and getting bigger), they offer more bang for your buck. You’ll soar along exciting lines perfectly situated within the trees of the Great Smoky Mountains, and you’ll have experienced guides to keep you safe and make sure you have a great time.
Another great thing about the tour is that it requires almost no walking or hiking. The ziplines take you from platform to platform, and you don’t have to hike up the mountain to get started.
Before you start your zipline tour, your guides will take you to the gear room to get on your harness and gloves. You’ll learn how all your gear works from the knowledgeable guides that will make you feel comfortable before this new adventure!
After an exciting 6x6 all-terrain military truck ride up the mountain (hang on!), you’ll start out with the easiest zip line to get your feet wet. You’ll practice keeping yourself straight and braking before venturing onto the more challenging lines. Then get ready for exciting rides at up to 40 miles per hour. Each zip line is faster, higher, and longer than the last, so the excitement builds all during your trip.

The 9-line Canopy Tour – their most popular – will take you zooming through the trees and includes all your gear, guides to get you ready, a 6x6 truck ride, and professional instruction all along the way. They also offer specials throughout the year, so give them a call at 865.429.9004 to get the best rate.

Base-camp Amenities
The large base-camp building at Smoky Mountain Ziplines can accommodate groups coming for canopy and zipline tours. With a large covered porch furnished with rocking chairs, benches, and tables, it offers a comfortable place to hang out before (and after) zipping through the trees.
Inside, find cozy couches and chairs, along with screens where you can see pictures of your adventures. The base camp has restrooms for before and after the tour, and there are also portable restrooms at the halfway point with disinfectant. You can grab a complimentary drink before the tour, and they’ll also provide drinks at the halfway point and after the tour is over.
The base camp also serves as the check-in and gift shop, so this is where you’ll sign your waivers and buy their high-quality t-shirts and other gear to take home. On your last zip line, a photographer will snap a photo of you flying through the trees. Your guide will give you a heads up so you can smile or strike a crazy pose, and then you can purchase photos or a CD of pictures to remember your trip by!
