Pigeon Forge Community Center

A hidden gem among the dozens of family-friendly attractions on the Parkway, restaurants, outdoor activities, and outlet stores, the Pigeon Forge Community Center features fun for all ages. Best of all, the community center offers budget-friendly activities, so you don't have to spend a lot to have a ton of fun on your Pigeon Forge vacation. Built in 2000, the Pigeon Forge Community Center boasts 86,000 square feet of recreation space. Within the recreational complex in this bustling Smoky Mountain town, you'll find basketball courts, racquet ball courts, bowling lanes, a child care center, a walking track, a wellness center, a meeting room, aerobics rooms, and an aquatic center! It really is loaded with enough amenities for an entire day of fun downtown.

Memberships & Guest Passes

If you're wanting to visit the Pigeon Forge Community Center for more than just a day, you can purchase an annual membership. As a member, you'll have access to childcare, the fitness center, the swimming pools, the walking track, and the basketball courts. You'll also get discounted bowling rates! If you're not up for a year commitment, the community center also has daily, weekly, and monthly passes available.

Aerobics

There are two aerobics rooms at the Pigeon Forge Community Center, and guests can check out a variety of classes. Among the offerings, try cardio and resistance training, total body fitness ball workouts, yoga, Pilates, kettle bell workouts, classes designed for seniors, cross training, high-intensity workouts, Zumba, circuit training, calisthenics, and more. Even though you're on vacation, you don't have to fall out of your workout routine – just stop by the community center to work up a sweat before cooling off in the pool or heading back to your Pigeon Forge cabin to relax in front of the TV or in a soothing hot tub.

Basketball & Racquetball

With three basketball courts and two racquetball courts, the Pigeon Forge Community Center has ample space for athletics. Along with free play, they have 3 on 3 basketball and youth basketball leagues for boys and girls in the community.

Aquatics Center

A budget-friendly activity the whole family can enjoy, a swim at the Aquatics Center at the Pigeon Forge Community Center is a great way to spend an afternoon. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, along with water aerobics classes and swim lessons available. The indoor pool is great for laps and exercise, and the outdoor pools are perfect for cooling off on those hot summer days in the Smokies! The outdoor pool features a large slide and a kiddie pool where the smaller kids can play. Water aerobics classes are just $3 per person and are held 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 5:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Here with a big group? Bowling Center

The Pigeon Forge Community Center continues to impress, with a 10-lane bowling alley for more family fun. They have Cosmic Bowling and specials throughout the week, and their regular rates make for a cheap but fun outing. Try Cosmic Bowling from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays or stop by on Thursdays for $1 games from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Pigeon Forge Bowling Center also offers birthday party packages starting at just $35 per lane. They offer everything from shoe rentals and plates and cups to a bowling pin for the birthday child and themed cupcakes!

Childcare

If you're wanting to get a workout in and need some help with the kids, take advantage of the childcare at the community center. They take children ages 1 (and walking) to 9 years old and are open mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Evening hours are Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Childcare is free for members and just $5 per child for non-members (up to two hours). They also offer Mother's Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's $7.50 a day for members and $10 a day for non-members. They bowl, have swim lessons, enjoy story time and crafts at the Pigeon Forge Library, and head outside for fun when it's nice!

Special Events

Although you can find fun activities year-round at the Pigeon Forge Community Center, it also hosts special events during the holidays. At Easter, enjoy the Egg Hunt & Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event. Kids can search for eggs at Patriot Park on the Saturday before Easter (FREE) and have breakfast with the Easter Bunny at The Old Mill Restaurant (tickets required). During Halloween, the Pigeon Forge Community Center is part of the trick-or-treating safe zones, offering families a safe alternative to the door-to-door candy stops. It's a non-scary event that kids of all ages can enjoy, featuring interactive displays and candy! And of course, Christmas brings even more fun. On the first Tuesday in December, the Woody Brackin Memorial Christmas Tree will be lit, and then guests can head inside the community center for games, a visit from Santa, entertainment, and snacks – all FREE!
