Step into your home suite home — Friendly Bear Lodge! Drop your bags, head straight for the comfy couch (first one there gets the corner seat!), and soak in the enchanting trees with everchanging sky views. When ready, grab a few snacks from the nearby kitchen and pop on the TV for a bit of entertainment. Better yet, hop in the recliner with your favorite e-book and enjoy a mountain read by a dazzling fire.

There’s even an island for extra counter space with bar seating for 3, where the kiddos can help decorate freshly baked sugar cookies or the adults can lend a helping hand and conversational support.

Dining Area
Take a few steps over and you’ll bump into the dining area, featuring a large wooden table with 10 cushioned chairs. Enjoy indoor picnics, family meals, and board game fun (brought from home) with your besties. Being open to both the living and kitchen areas, this dining space is versatile and communal, great for keeping conversations going, finding a good work space, or simply keeping an eye on rambunctious kiddos.

Rec Room

Beat the highest scores on the Multicade unit, show your kids who’s boss at pool, and sprawl out on the large sectional in the media space, which features a flatscreen TV. Here you’ll also find pub seating for 3, perfect for kicking back a cold one or two with friends while awaiting your next turn in the game tournament.

Bedrooms

Guest Reviews

Reviews for Friendly Bear Lodge

  • "We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with three generations of our extended family of 10 adults. Everyone really enjoyed staying at the Friendly Bear Lodge. It was close to attractions and had a great view of the nightly fireworks from Dollywood. The interior walls were wood with a vaulted great room ceiling. We had 2 covered, wooded decks, one with a picnic table and the other with a hot tub. Both decks had plenty of chairs and the dining table seated all ten of us."

  • "Our cabin was perfect for us. It was close to town and an easy drive. The kitchen appliances were new. The beds were comfortable. The cabins were pretty close together but still wooded. Our neighbors didn’t secure their trash- so we even saw a bear up close!"
