And as one of the largest collector car events in the country, the Smoky Mountain Spring Rod Run is something that both car enthusiasts and casual onlookers won’t want to miss. The Parkway in Pigeon Forge is the stage for this production, while the Grand Resort Convention Center is the main base. April 19th through April 21st, locals and visitors can browse the aisles of cars while admiring the shiny chrome, flawless paint, and smooth lines of hot rods that have been greatly cared for. If you want a good seat for the parade of cars down the Parkway, it’s a good idea to bring a chair and set up early. Red Roof Mall and the Marines partner to raise money for Toys for Tots by selling display space in the parking lot.
