Now, there’s far more to do in Gatlinburg, Tennessee than just relaxing in your cabin rental. The beautiful downtown area is home to dozens of shops, museums, attractions and stores that your dad will love to browse. Looking for some fun things to do with dad in Gatlinburg for Father’s Day? Check out some ideas below!

A One of a Kind Outdoor Adventure
Want to send Dad home with something that he’ll remember forever? Not exactly your run-of-the-mill outdoor adventure, rent a couple ATV’s and take a ride up Bluff Mountain! The user-friendly all-terrain vehicles will take you up one of the area’s highest mountains for the ride of your life. Enjoy the sights and scenery without the strenuous hike!

Visit Ripley’s Odditorium
Dads love all things weird and creepy, so Ripley’s is offering a Father’s Day deal that you just can’t pass up. On Sunday, June 16, 2013 Ripley’s Odditorium is letting dad in FOR FREE! Just buy one ticket dad gets in at no charge. With more than 500 incredible artifact and exhibits, Ripley’s Odditorium is home to the unexplained, such as the two-headed calf and the shrunken human head!

Have Breakfast for Dinner
Gatlinburg is known for its pancakes, so hit up your favorite pancake restaurant and enjoy a breakfast for dinner treat! There’s nothing like warm, fluffy pancakes coated in sweet syrup to cap off your day! You can also choose to go with a more traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon and biscuits. Either way you choose, breakfast for dinner is a treat that doesn’t happen often enough (in our opinion!)

Take Home Some Treats (Or Eat Some On The Way Home!)
On the way back to your Gatlinburg cabin rental, take a trip down the Parkway and stop at some of the Smoky Mountain’s best candy shops. Gatlinburg candy shops are famous for their creamy and smooth fudge, however, there are candy delights to suit every taste bud. Chocolate covered cherries, taffy, caramel apples and peanut brittle are all to be found along the Gatlinburg Parkway.

Cabin offer only valid only in 2013.
