If you’re planning a group getaway and want to stay in the beautiful Black Bear Ridge Resort, our cabins Abundant Romance and It’s All Good are right next to each other! Abundant Romance lives up to its name, with romantic details such as a heart-shaped jetted tub and awesome mountain views from the soothing hot tub and bedroom. The 1-bedroom cabin is great for couples on a honeymoon or anniversary weekend, and it can sleep up to 4 guests for those traveling with kids.
It’s All Good offers beautiful interiors and even more space, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and room for up to 14 guests. Among its many amenities is rec room loaded with fun. Play shuffleboard, pool, arcade games, air hockey, and darts while hanging out in this awesome cabin in Black Bear Ridge.
Community Pool
Offering fun for the whole family, the community pool at Black Bear Ridge Resort is a seasonal outdoor pool where both kids and adults will love spending sunny days. Around the pool, there is plenty of space to lounge in chairs or on your towel. And because of its location among the trees of the Smokies, you'll get a view you won't get at most pools. As you float, lay out, or play, you can enjoy the sweeping views of the mountains and trees that the Great Smoky Mountains is known for.
The pool at Black Bear Ridge Resort is open seasonally from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., and there is parking available below the pool so you won't have to walk the whole way from your cabin. If your cabin is located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, please check the amenities list or give us a call to ensure your cabin has pool access. Some properties within the resort do not have community pool access. You’ll also need to be sure you get your pool pass before heading over.
Wedding Chapel
The Great Smoky Mountains is a favorite location for weddings. The area is virtually a one-stop shop for a wedding day, weekend, or week to remember.
At Black Bear Ridge Resort, you'll find another one of those beautiful Gatlinburg wedding chapels. Angel's View Wedding Chapel offers stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains, a beautiful brick and log exterior, a lovely wood interior, and even a white Cinderella carriage outside! There is also a charming white gazebo where you can have ceremonies outside overlooking the trees. Inside, the chapel can seat up to 60 guests and features a window overlooking the Smokies, providing a stunning backdrop for the happy couple.
At Angel's View Wedding Chapel, everything you need for a great day is at your fingertips. It's a one-stop shop, with photography, videography, a minister, chapel décor, limo services, floral design (silk and fresh), wedding cakes and groom cakes, dove releases, and even reception services! If you want custom catering for your wedding (or Christmas meal, Thanksgiving dinner, boxed picnic lunch, or romantic honeymoon dinner), Angel's View Wedding Chapel uses From the South to Your Mouth catering. Black Bear Ridge Resort has also made it easy for your guests to get around, providing plenty of signs leading to the wedding chapel, salon, and pool.
Salon & Day Spa
Whether you want to pamper yourself on vacation or need to get ready to say “I do,” head over the Black Bear Ridge Resort's salon – Make Me Over Salon and Day Spa – for manicures and pedicures, hairstyles, makeup, beard shaping, kids' updos, and more! Best of all, the Make Me Over Salon and Day Spa is in the same building as the chapel, so you can get ready for your big day and then just walk over to the chapel! Pair their full-service wedding venue with our beautiful cabins that are perfect for honeymoons (just a few minutes’ drive away), and you have the perfect place for a day you’ll remember forever.
