Description

Surrounded by gorgeous mountain views, infused with cabin charm, and filled to the brim with cozy furnishings and bonus amenities, you’ll feel right at home and more than at ease at Bearfoot Landing, a large-group cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. Ideal for a family reunion, church retreat, or surprise team getaway, this 3,000+-square-foot lodge in Gatlinburg can host up to 24 guests with 6 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, a fully equipped kitchen with tons of counter space, a fun rec room with game tables, and 2 spacious wraparound decks.

Unwind from the day’s hike in the national park with a bubbly soak in the hot tub, sip a glass of sweet tea in a rocking chair on warmer afternoons, challenge the group to foosball and pool tournaments downstairs, relax with a cocktail from the kitchenette and a feature film on the big screen TV, read a fantasy novel by the primary suite’s fireplace, and tuck in the little ones with a bedtime story before hitting the hay on one of 5 king-size beds. Plus, with a stellar location — only a 10-mile drive to the heart of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge — you’ll have double the options for in-town entertainment. So, what are you waiting for? Memorable cabin moments and Smoky Mountain experiences are only a click or a phone call away today!

Living Room
When you first walk inside Bearfoot Landing, gorgeous mountain views will lure you to the massive floor-to-ceiling windows lining the back of the cabin in the main living area. Feel free to step through the French doors onto the spacious deck to really take it all in — the soothing sounds of nature, serene wildlife, and fresh mountain air make great starts to a Smoky Mountain getaway.

When you’ve had your fill, unwind on the leather sofas and matching armchair, prop your feet up on the ottoman, and let the little ones crawl around on the large area rug. After settling in, arrange a few snacks and drinks on the coffee table, switch on the flatscreen TV, and pop in a DVD for a family film together. On summer days, keep the space extra cool with the ceiling fan and close the elegant curtains to dim the lighting a touch. And on warmer nights, get a toasty fire going in the stacked-stone electric fireplace, which pairs perfectly with hot cocoa, friendly chats, or a good book.

Kitchen
Adjacent to the living room is the large, sleek kitchen — with granite countertops, bar seating for 6, and stainless-steel appliances! With plenty of counter space to easily accommodate all of Grandma’s Thanksgiving pies or multiple boxes of Friday night pizza, the kitchen gives you all the space you’ll need for your large group. Worried about bringing enough pots and pans, plates, mugs, and silverware? Bearfoot Landing has you covered and then some as this kitchen is fully equipped for homemade meals morning, noon, and night! Let everyone pitch in for a Sunday afternoon potluck or enjoy catered meals at the cabin.

Dining Area
Boasting an open floorplan, comfortably seat 8 at the dining table, 6 at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, and more in the living room at mealtimes. Better yet, leave the dining room door open to enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table for 6 on the wraparound deck. And when the bowls are empty, plates are clean, and cups are dry, flip on the CD player and dance on the beautiful hardwood floors, perfect for moonwalking.

Rec Room
Gather the gang for playtime in the rec room at Bearfoot Landing any time! Enter the foosball battlefield with pride and take on the reining pool champion with a smile. Win or lose, quality time is the goal…though, we still hope you win. For those who want to stick close to the action but don’t want to join the gaming festivities, plop on the sofa and turn on the big screen TV for a DVD feature film. With a nearby kitchenette — complete with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and bar area for 3 — popcorn refills and midnight cocktails are only a few steps away. There’s even a pub table for 4, great for relaxing with a drink, a few friends, and a card, arcade or board game.

Bedrooms
Too excited to sleep but need a little privacy? Head to one of 6 bedrooms at Bearfoot Landing — where fighting over the remote won’t be an issue as each bedroom comes with its own TV to keep everyone entertained. With a king-size bed in 5 bedrooms, 2 twin-over-queen bunks in the 6th bedroom, plus 4 queen futons throughout the cabin, up to 24 guests will have a comfortable place to sleep every night.

Concerned about having enough bathrooms to get ready in the mornings? Don’t worry — Bearfoot Landing has not only 6 full bathrooms but also 2 half baths. Some are even equipped with handicap features, including 32-inch doors and handicap bars. And there’s even a jetted tub in the primary suite upstairs, so you can enjoy spa baths with lavender-scented bubbles, dancing candle flames, and tranquil tunes before slipping into the cool sheets of the king-size bed.

Outdoor Spaces
When you pull up to Bearfoot Landing, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the large, flat, paved driveway, which can fit up to 6 vehicles (excluding buses) and is motorcycle friendly, offering plenty of room for your group. As you walk up to this semi-private home, a convenient ramp awaits to make unloading suitcases and groceries a breeze. First stop? Selfies with the bear statue of course — it’s tradition after all…and adorable.

Within the stunning wall of windows in the living space, French doors lead you to the first of Bearfoot Landing’s oversized, wraparound decks, where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Smokies in person! Pull up a rocking chair and enjoy pleasant conversation under a moonlit mountain evening. Or unwind in the outdoor hot tub, conveniently located on the lower-level deck.

When your group decides to stay in and cook out, the charcoal grill will be ready for barbecue feasts, steak dinners, and veggie kabobs galore! And don’t forget the outdoor dining table for 6! There’s also a shaded porch swing, perfect for romantic sways and a little alone time with your spouse or a morning devotional with awe-inspiring mountain views and a steaming cup of joe.

With all these options and the overabundance of deck space at this cabin, you’ll love being outside during your Smoky Mountain stay at Bearfoot Landing!

Reviews for Bearfoot Landing

  • "A perfect large cabin for our guest of 20. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and be comfortable. The only negative is no Wi-Fi but we knew that going in. The views from the decks are awesome. Approx 30 mins from downtown Gatlinburg so the location is fine. We'd highly recommend this cabin if you have a large group. The main floor has plenty enough room for 20+ people to congregate. All the beds were comfortable and very clean. We really will try to rent this cabin again next year."

  • "The cabin was super clean and the host team was very responsive to our questions and even helped us add a night to our stay which was awesome. The oven was difficult though and the living room gets really hot with direct sunlight on the seating area from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. We loved having king beds and plenty of bathrooms for each couple. Overall it was an excellent amount of space for all of us"

  • "This house was super clean. The view off the deck is breathtaking. It has plenty of room for us. We enjoyed our stay."

Great value for the size of the house that we had."

  • "Everything was Awesome !!"

  • "We all enjoyed ourselves. Everybody had a wonderful time"

  • "The process through Cabins for You was fine. No major problems with their service or the cabin. It was very nice. My only complaint is that there was another cabin right next door, operated by the same company, whose renters were having an extremely loud party from 12:00-4:00 AM. The renters were drinking, screaming, and were so loud that they woke up our entire cabin. I was told that there was nothing Cabins For You could do and that there were no noise regulations in the county. I wish I’d known how close the other cabin was to the one we were renting. If I had known, I would have chosen another cabin. I wish Cabins 4 You could have done something about the extremely loud renters."
