Living Room

Settle into the perfect spot in front of the fire on either plush brown suede couch for time to unwind in the afternoon. Doze off into a peaceful, quiet nap in the soft midday sun creeping in through the tall living room windows or kick back while watching your favorite daytime TV show on the flatscreen mounted to the stone fireplace.

In the tranquil evening hours, play cards while sipping local Smoky Mountain wine around the spacious coffee table while the fire and tableside lamp dreamily illuminate the room. With your head rested against one cushy armrest and your feet rested on the other of the cozy loveseat, you can finally begin that book recommendation from a friend while far away from the distractions of home.

Kitchen

After swimming in the community pool and working up an appetite, return to your cabin’s quaint kitchen with sleek modern appliances balanced with sandy-hued wood cabinetry to reheat those leftovers from the refrigerator. Make your famous piña colada using the blender before heading to the outdoor hot tub for a little slice of paradise surrounded by mountain forestry.

Keep the romantic surprises coming and cook your partner’s favorite meal using all the conveniently supplied cookware here. Set the table with the cabin plates and glassware while waiting on your main course to finish cooking in the oven. In the mornings, pour a couple cups of joe from the coffeemaker and lightly crisp some English muffins in the toaster for a quiet breakfast before your hike to Abrams Falls in Cades Cove.

Dining Room

The charming wood dining set of Bear Maximum is just the right size for your little family’s meals. Clear the table after your delicious cabin-made dinner for a night of board games with the kids. Surprise your significant other with softly lit dinner under the chandelier before heading to the jetted tub in the bedroom. Laugh and talk over wine and dessert while discussing pictures on your phones from your day’s adventures to downtown Gatlinburg. Gather around the dining table in the mornings for a hearty pancake and scrambled egg breakfast before taking on the trails to Andrews Bald for incredible, breathtaking views of miles of rolling mountains.

Bedroom

Return to the cabin after hours of laughing and eating at the Dixie Stampede for a sublimely restful night in your bedroom’s king-size bed. Turn on the stone fireplace (electric) and put on a movie on the flatscreen for a romantic movie night. Lazily relax in the dim afternoon sunlight for a short nap before heading to downtown Pigeon Forge for a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at The Island. At the end of the night, click off the bedside table’s lamp after finishing the last chapter of your book as you fall asleep. Want to unwind? Your jetted tub is just steps from your bed, making it the perfect way to rejuvenate after a long day or get refreshed before heading into town or hitting the hiking trails.

Game Room

Never worry about keeping the kids entertained between daily excursions, thanks to Bear Maximum’s loft game room! Challenge your teens to air hockey before letting them play each other. Kick back in the afternoon sun pouring in from the loft windows while lounging on the oversized leather couch. In between turns taking shots on the pool table, sip on your cold drink at the high-top table nearby while you chat about the next day’s plans.

Outdoor Amenities

Rock slowly on the porch swing as the morning light illuminates the greenery of the trees and birds sing. Sway in the rocking chairs after a delicious lunch in Pigeon Forge to relax before heading back out to the city for a night on the town. Save money and grill out at the cabin on the back porch using the gas grill for the perfect summer hamburger lunch or savory smoked steaks.

And don’t forget to slip into the outdoor hot tub during lazy afternoons and soak in the warm bubbles while enjoying serene mountain forest and valley views. • "Our trip to the Smoky Mountains was a trip we will remember for a lifetime. We had such a great time in Bear Maximum. My wife has been battling cancer for some time now and we were finally able to get away for some much needed peace and quiet. This cabin had everything we needed and more. We will hopefully be back in the future."

  • "Bear Maximum is a beautiful cabin with lots of features inside and out. We loved the Christmas tree and other decorations, and we will definitely be back."
