"“All About the View” is a good description of this property. Plan to arrive before dark, as the narrow road is twisty with occasional hairpin turns, and street signs are not always clear. There is a large parking area and easy access to the house’s main entrance. The house has two en suite bedrooms on the lower level, separated by an activity room with a pool table and wet bar; the laundry is also on this level. All three areas open to a common deck that is not screened; the hot tub is on this deck. The main floor consists of the kitchen, dining area that seats 8, and two living areas which have a see-through fireplace. There is a powder room off the second living area. The dining room opens to a screened deck that has the gas grill and a table that seats 6; note that the property management company does not provide propane tanks. There is a smaller deck with a table and four chairs off the second living area. The top level has two en suite bedrooms, but no decks. There is a large couch in the loft area between the bedrooms. The furniture in the living rooms is oversized and comfortable, and the king-sized beds are comfortable as well. Each bedroom has its own thermostat. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas. Kitchen equipment is hit-or-miss; check out what’s provided before planning your menus. There are many birds – try an app like BirdNet to identify the ones you hear. You can also expect to hear construction noise.
Pros: the view, comfortable beds and furniture, parking, close to the Sugarlands Visitor Center
Cons: kitchen is not well equipped, no tourist information is provided, minor but numerous maintenance issues"
