Description

This beautiful 2-story cabin high above the mountains is impressive inside and out. It’s the perfect place to set up camp and spend quality time together when you’re not out strolling the streets of downtown or visiting all the great attractions and Gatlinburg events nearby. One of the best features of this cabin is the spacious game room, where the whole group can join in games of pool or air hockey on the full-size game tables – while enjoying impressive views of the Smoky Mountains from the walls of double-windows surrounding the room. This room even features handsome bunk beds so that the kids can enjoy falling right to sleep after a fun night of playing while the rest of the group enjoys time in the hot tub or a good night of sleep in one of the nicely appointed bedrooms with king-sized beds and flatscreen TVs.

Downtown Gatlinburg is just a short drive away, so when you want to get out of the cabin for a bit, there will be plenty to do. You can do some shopping at The Village, have a hearty pancake breakfast at Pancake Pantry or Crockett’s Breakfast Camp, gear up for hiking at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, play at Ober Gatlinburg, or ride the Gatlinburg Trolley around downtown to explore! Then you’ll have the cozy Mountain High to come home to for peaceful, relaxing nights.

Living Room
The cozy living room is situated around a stone electric fireplace, which will create a nice ambiance throughout your stay no matter the time of year. Above the fireplace hangs a large flatscreen TV. This room is open to the kitchen so you can still feel as though your group is all together while mingling in either room. Oversized seating, a large spacious coffee table and end tables, and soft lamp lighting complete the comfortable and functional feel of this cabin’s living area.

You might consider surprising your guests with a Spirit of the Smokies gift basket, which we can place on the coffee or dining room table before your arrival with advance notice. It will include special gifts for everyone to keep, with snacks like locally made taffy and fudge, mugs, a plush bear, postcards, and a cookbook. Or you can just kick back in front of the TV to watch a ball game or movie.

Kitchen
The cabin’s lovely, warm-toned kitchen offers updated sleek black appliances—a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave—for all your cooking needs. Our kitchens also come equipped with extras you would find in your own kitchen, such as a coffeemaker, blender, can opener, knife set, pots and pans, and dishware. Start the day off right with a delicious breakfast of coffee, pancakes, bacon, and eggs. In the evenings you can take advantage of the kitchen and dining space for a nice home cooked dinner, or simply enjoy heating up leftovers brought back from one of the many fantastic nearby restaurants.

Dining Table
Gather everyone around this lovely 6-person dining table made of a beautifully finished natural wood plank. It is the perfect spot for a memorable meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Plenty of tabletop space will allow your group to enjoy card or board games here if you choose to stay in for the evening. The adorable rustic wildlife decor adds just the right touch to this already impressive space.

Bedrooms
Two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, are decorated with cozy quilt bedding. The rustic warm wood colors of the rooms lend to their cozy feel. One of the rooms includes an electric fireplace and an exterior door leading right to the outside hot tub, and the other king bedroom has a door leading out to the porch. Both bedrooms feature a flatscreen TV for catching up on shows, movies, or Gatlinburg weather and happenings while you rest or get ready for the day. Additionally, twin bunk beds are located in the upstairs game room, and the cabin also includes two queen sleepers, allowing the cabin to sleep up to 10 people.

Rec Room
If you’re traveling with family or a large group, you’ll want plenty of space to spread out. Mountain High provides the perfect area for just that. This large window-filled room holds a full-size pool table; a full-size air hockey table; a bar-top table with seating for 3 for cards, drinks, or other games; a super-fun multicade arcade table; and seating for everyone at an oversized leather couch and recliner.

Relax in front of the big screen TV for movie night, spend a few hours playing around before heading into town, or let the kids take over the space that also features bunk beds! They’ll love having their bedroom also function as the game room and vacation hub! Plus, gorgeous tree-studded views make it a relaxing space as well.

Outdoor Spaces
On the back porch, you’ll find a porch swing and rocking chairs for enjoying the peaceful outdoors and lovely views of the mountains. Grab a drink or enjoy a good book before climbing into the soothing hot tub to unwind. Tucked into a cozy corner with stone walls, the hot tub is private and peaceful.

Mountain High also boasts a flat, paved driveway and inviting front porch. And if all that’s not enough, Mountain High includes community pool access for your enjoyment during summer months.
