We came up to the Smoky Mountains from Pensacola Fla. We wanted the experience of fall weather, seeing the leaves change colors and staying in a cabin. The cabin was beautiful, the views were a dream. I wanted to make it my new home. The mountains were in all its glory of colors including snow cap tops. It was so much more beyond what we hoped for. Pictures and words just don't justify our experience. The Mountains Shadows Resort and the town of Gatlinburg, added its own personal touch, the whole area was celebrating fall, fresh pumpkins, hay stacks, scarecrows, fresh planted mums of every color were everywhere. What a welcoming experience! We have returned to sun and sand but my heart is in Tennessee. I will see you next fall.

All I can say is Thank You! My daughter's and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the cabin "Bear Tracks." I have stayed at many cabins in Gatlinburg and I must say that this one was my favorite. The decor was wonderful as well as the view on the upper deck. The only complaint that I have is that we did not know to bring propane for the grill. We were not able to grill out on the warmest weekend of fall. Also I was woken up at 3 am to a pesky little raccoon that had to get into the trash. He came back every night! I found out that the neighbor kids were feeding him by hand so I'm sure that he was still hungry and afraid of anyone! We did have a great weekend and the cabin was clean. Hope we left it the same...Thank you.

Bear Tracks is a beautiful log cabin located in the Mountain Shadows Resort in Gatlinburg Tennessee. The Mountain Shadows Resort is roughly 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. Bear Tracks cabin has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2,200 square feet of living space. This cabin can sleep up to 9 people. Rates change based on occupants.
