Taking place in the Great Smokey Mountains is the Southeast Regional Aircraft Modeling EXPO. You can bring your own model aircraft or you can just stop by to see a small air show with radio controlled airplanes. Adults and kids will both enjoy this event. There is also paper airplane demonstrations, model building, radio control and even some fly-bys from full-sized aircraft. This event will be taking place on June 11th and June 12th.

Summer’s definitely beginning to bloom in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the Gatlinburg Flower Fest. Gatlinburg will be full of beautiful and fragrant floral displays. You will also be able to experience live Bluegrass music on Friday and Saturday nights all throughout June. The concerts are going to be on the Parkway, right beside the convention center and are totally free. The festival will be going on during the weekends throughout the entire month.

Elwood created the Old Smokey Hoedown in 1996 and it quickly became a family hit.
