Boasting year-round mountain views and a location less than 5 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, Life is Good is set in the Greenbrier Village cabin community (walking distance to Greenbrier Restaurant) and keeps you close to all the attractions, restaurants, and shops the Smokies has to offer. It’ll be easy to explore when you want to get out, but this 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom cabin will have plenty to do at the cabin too! With space for up to 16 guests, it’s fit for families and small groups in the mountains.

Days at Life is Good will live up to its name, with high-speed Spectrum cable TV and Wi-Fi to stay connected or just relax and browse, a pool table to play around, Fast and Furious Super Cars driving arcade game, virtual pinball with 863 games, 90-game Multicade/arcade, and even an 8-seat theater room with 82-inch HDTV, DVD and Blu-ray players, and a soundbar system for awesome movie nights.

On nice days, you can toss burgers and kabobs on the park-style charcoal grill; on quiet evenings, you can unwind in front of the welcoming electric fireplace. Rocking chairs on the deck are perfect for sipping coffee before you head into town or enjoying a drink before calling it a night. The hot tub is also the perfect place to unwind before you head to the cozy bedrooms at night. A new 8-seater firepit area will be your go-to for s'mores and late-night chats.

Each bedroom features a king-size bed, and you’ll also have 1 queen-over-queen bunk bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa for additional guests. Great year-round mountain views will beckon you outside, and TVs in the bedrooms ensure everyone gets their own time at night. More amenities will keep you comfortable, including a fully equipped kitchen for in-cabin meals, a washer/dryer great for groups or packing light, easy keyless entry, and an ALL-NEW iWave-R HVAC system that improves air quality by removing smells, allergens, and dust!

Living Room
Need a place to rest after your travels or exploring in town? Head for the open concept living space at Life Is Good. With extra-high ceilings, tons of natural light pouring through the wall of windows framing lush trees, and comfy sofas to unwind, it’s an inviting space for sure. Plus, there’s an electric fireplace for cool mountain eves and a big screen TV for entertainment anytime! Toss snacks on the coffee table and relax on the couches for a chat or a show. And when everyone’s curling up in bed, sneak down to the rocking chair with reading lamp and head to another world of romance and adventure.

When you’re ready for a bite, stroll along the hardwood floors to the open, fully equipped kitchen that features stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), spacious granite countertops, and a large island with seating. Grab morning coffee in a flash, whip up breakfast on the stove, heat up last night’s restaurant leftovers for lunch in the microwave, and store sweet treats in the fridge. Island dwellers will love sampling the chef in the group’s latest creation or get them to hop in and lend a helping hand with dinner!

Dining Area
Just off the kitchen, leading to the living room, awaits the dining area with a large window for scenic meals and a long log table with matching benches and end chairs. Combined with the breakfast bar at the island in the kitchen plus the sofa seating nearby, everyone will have a spot to enjoy mealtimes. The dining area is also ideal for setting out crafts for the kiddos during the day and hosting a board game tournament with the adults in the evening.

Rec Room
After a scrumptious Smoky Mountain meal, put those calories to good use in the rec room that features a pool table, Fast and Furious Super Cars driving arcade, 863-game virtual pinball machine, and Multicade/arcade game. Shoot pool and knock back a few cold ones at the bar table together. Better yet, open the glass doors to the outdoors, where a firepit, rocking chairs, and a hot tub are eager to join the fun. The rec room also features a queen bunk bed for guests, so the night owls in your group will have a cozy place to sleep.

Theater Room
In the mood to hit the movies? Perfect! Life Is Good when you have a home theater with an 82-inch HDTV, booming soundbar system, Blu-ray player, and tiered theater-style seating. It’s like going to the movies…without the unwanted chatter, cell phone lights, and spilled drinks in your path. Hit pause, rewind, and play whenever you please and grab endless bowls of buttery popcorn from the kitchen!

As the fun settles, head to your private bedroom with en-suite bathroom — there are 5! Each bedroom comes with custom furniture, a flatscreen TV, and a plush king-size bed, and the primary bedroom boasts a private balcony to boot! Combined with the queen bunk in the rec room and the home’s queen sleeper, up to 16 guests can stay comfortably at Life Is Good. Switch on a reading lamp for nightly reads, flip on the TV for entertainment anytime, keep the ceiling fan on to keep cool on warmer nights, and take hot showers for as long as you want!

Outdoor Spaces
Look forward to seasonal mountain views and woodsy scenery at Life Is Good. With multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy, everyone in your group will be able to reconnect with nature. The primary suite’s balcony features seating for 2 so the hosts can get a little privacy outdoors. You’ll find outdoor dining for 4 plus rocking chairs on the entry level, great for sipping coffee in the mornings. And the lower level features a steamy hot tub to soothe tired muscles after horseback riding or hiking in the mountains, more rocking chairs for further enjoyment, and a stone path that leads to a firepit with seating and a garden charcoal grill for s’mores and cookouts!

Are you a little nervous to traverse mountain roads? When you stay at Life Is Good, fear not for the roads to the cabin — and even the driveway — are all flat and paved, making your Smoky Mountain journey easier. And when you arrive at the parking area for 5, there are only 6 steps to enter the home, so unpacking and reloading won’t be a hassle.

Reviews for Life is Good

  • "We've been coming to Tennessee for vacation since 1985 and I think we just found our favorite cabin! The owners have thought of everything in this cabin and seeing Bears everyday was a plus. We will definitely be coming back to stay there."

We loved reading your review of Life Is Good! We're thrilled you had such a great time, and can't wait to host you again in the future!

  • "Four enjoyable nights at Life is Good Cabin. Had group of HS Senior boys and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Cabin and trip. Easily slept 14 with 7 Qn Mattresses. From the kitchen, to view, to the black bear encounter, to the pool table and the video games, and the home theater room....simply a very enjoyable stay."

  • "Great place!! Very roomy!"

  • "The 5 bedrooms plus the bunk beds were perfect for our family of 11. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the arcade games, pool table and theater. The house is arranged well with 3 bedrooms on top floor, 1 on the main floor and 1 in the bottom level in addition to the bunk beds. We did see a bear our first night!!"

  • "This cabin was great for our Valentine’s getaway with friends. We enjoyed our time in this spacious house & it was a great location. We loved the fact that it had all primary bedrooms, which made it easy for all the couples. The only complaint we had was the hot tub was not very clean & would not get above 96 degrees."

  • "Life Is Good in Gatlinburg Cabin: This cabin was perfect for our family of 8. The rooms are a nice size, the view is beautiful, the kitchen and living is area is spacious, and the kids loved the recreation area on bottom floor. The location is ideal. We walked to town one night (sidewalk all the way from cabin road to downtown), my older kids used the BLUE trolley (trolley stop at bottom of cabin road), Food City grocery is so close, Roaring Fork hiking trails are near, and Dollywood is an easy drive. The Alum Cave & Chimney Top hiking area is on the other side of town so add time to commute for traffic moving slowly through downtown. We had a blast and would love to come back. Only two pillows per bed, no blow dryers, and wifi very weak on third floor but an absolutely wonderful place to vacation!"

  • "Beautiful cabin located conveniently to downtown Gatlinburg and many day hikes including Mt. Leconte. Family friendly with plenty of space. Outdoor firepit, media room, game room, hot tub, rocking chairs and open floorplan accommodated all our needs and wants giving each person options for entertainment or relaxation! (Do bring your own blow-dryer and shampoo) Our family had a wonderful time!"

  • "We stayed in the “Life Is Good” cabin and it was awesome. There were 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. Also a bunk bed in the play room. Everything was clean and nice. We got to see a bear in our backyard the first day which was very exciting. I want to mention the driveway because it wasn’t too steep and enough to fit 5 vehicles. I enjoyed my whole trip and especially the view from my balcony. I can’t wait to visit again!!"

  • "Easily the best vacation lodging experience my family has ever had. Immaculate cabin, seemless transaction super easy check in and out. Loved everything about it."

  • "This was our second time staying at “Life is Good” if that tells you anything. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids with the theater and arcade games. Along with the bonfires in the evenings. Great location with just a short drive into town. This cabin has everything you need. Cabins for You is great to work with and there for you if you need anything like recommendations etc. Hopefully we’ll be back soon!!"

  • "Beautiful and convenient location. The rain kept us in a few days but we were never bored. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely come back!"

  • "Lots of space and super easy check in! Great kid house! Would definitely come back! Thanks for a fabulous place to make memories!l"

  • "I absolutely loved the cabin. It was clean & sanitized upon arrival. It was a couples trip for a group of 10 and everyone had plenty of space to move around the cabin. We saw bears everyday while we were there so that added extra excitement to the trip. I would definitely stay again & recommend Cabins For You for your next cabin rental."
