The upcoming event will occur on October 21<sup>st<\/sup> and 22<sup>nd<\/sup> between traffic lights 1 and 3 in Gatlinburg. This event, which features shopping, activities for kids, skill demonstrations and live entertainment, is free and open to the public. This is a great event for both locals and visitors. There will be food, games, music, art and much more. Here are just a few things you can expect to find at this event:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food and Drink<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Smoky Mountain Winery<\/strong> will be serving wine in the courtyard of the Shops at Carousel Gardens.<\/li>\n<li>There will be free lemonade at the <strong>Gazebo<\/strong> all day.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up adjacent to the Pioneer Inn, the <strong>Gatlinburg Garden Club<\/strong> will be selling fresh-baked goods, Lucinda Oakley\u2019s autobiography, cookbooks, books by Marian Oates and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Kids\u2019 Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There will be free face painting in front of the <strong>Gazebo<\/strong>, as well as free helium balloons and sidewalk chalk contests.<\/li>\n<li>Fly fishing lessons will be given across the Parkway from the <strong>Smoky Mountain Trout House<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Art and More<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Heartwood Gallery <\/strong>will give chainsaw art demonstrations at traffic light 3.<\/li>\n<li>Local artists will be showing their work, and <strong>Mark Cady <\/strong>will provide entertainment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uva Wine Bar<\/strong> will host karaoke during the two-day event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A Walk on the North Side is a great way to spend a few hours on a cool fall day. You can bundle up and grab a glass of wine, get some free lemonade for the kids, and do a little bit of shopping\u2014Gatlinburg style. You can also warm up with some bread, cookies, and other toasty treats from the Gatlinburg Garden Club. The kids will have plenty to do, and you won\u2019t get bored checking out the local art or flaunting those pipes with a round of karaoke.
