A brand-new attraction in Sevierville, Tennessee<\/a> \u2014 and now the largest construction-based theme park in North America \u2014 Dig’n Zone is set to open by the end of spring in 2023! Along with a heavy equipment playground, there will be construction-themed rides, food trucks, an arcade, and a no-dig grassy space for concerts and events.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dig’n Zone Theme Park Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Growing up with a shared love for construction equipment in the Smokies, creators Grant Hensley and Weston O\u2019Dell are pumped to bring their construction-based theme park to Sevier County. Across 27 acres, you\u2019ll find 25+ attractions \u2014 including dig zones, heavy equipment rides, an arcade, a playground for kids, a restaurant, food trucks, and a large stage for live music performances and fun seasonal events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety First<\/strong>
Remember playing with steam rollers, dump trucks, diggers, and other heavy equipment toys as a kid? Now you can graduate to the big league and play at this construction theme park! Plus, your kids, nieces, nephews, and grandkids will be able to experience it all with you as every ride has been modified for safety \u2014 with limited speed and mobility, remote shut-off, plus seat belts and hard hats. And yes, there are even toddler-friendly rides at their construction site for kids!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any height restrictions? To ride, drive, or operate heavy machinery, you must be at least 36 inches tall. However, small children may ride in a parent or guardian\u2019s lap so everyone can be involved!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun Things to Do<\/strong>
With a backdrop of the Smoky Mountains, you can dig at the excavator playground, bowl down pins, crush cars, or retrieve \u201cducks\u201d from a pool at this new theme park in Sevierville, TN. There are even rides with roller coaster seats in safely modified buckets \u2014 so you can experience what it\u2019s like to be on the opposite end of a large excavator or mining truck. You\u2019ll be lifted and spun around, carried high in the air, or dumped out! You can operate a life-size Tonka truck, skid steers, forklifts, and other real Caterpillar equipment too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
