Kickin\u2019 Chicken 5K Run & Fun Walk<\/strong>
\nAre you or anyone in your family a runner? If so, it\u2019s not too late to register for the 6th Annual Kickin\u2019 Chicken 5K! Scheduled for September 1, 2018, this event will begin at The Comedy Barn Theater at 8:00 a.m. and take you on a beautiful course that includes a portion of Pigeon Forge\u2019s greenways. <\/p>\n

All runners and walkers are welcome to join, and medals will be awarded to the top finishers in all age groups. There will even be a $100 cash prize for the 100th finisher \u2014 which is encouraging to those of us who know we won\u2019t be crossing first! Your registration fee even includes the price of a race t-shirt as well as refreshments. <\/p>\n

You\u2019ll also be proud to know that by joining this race, you\u2019re benefiting a child advocacy center known as Safe Harbor of the Smokies, which serves Cocke, Granger, Jefferson, and Sevier counties. Ober Gatlinburg Ski\/Snowboard Season Passes<\/strong>
\nOkay, here you go \u2014 an important reminder that ends and begins around Labor Day weekend! On September 3, 2018, the early-bird special of up to $100 (depending on your age) OFF the regular season rates will end for your ski\/snowboard season pass to Ober Gatlinburg<\/a>. However, the deals aren\u2019t over yet! Starting the day after on September 4, 2018, a new sale up to $50 OFF the regular ski\/snowboard season pass rate will begin.
