Just when you thought bumper cars couldn\u2019t get any better\u2026Ober Gatlinburg<\/a> decided to take things up a notch with their brand-new attraction \u2014 Ice Bumper Cars! You\u2019ve bumped around on slick floors and collided in cool pools, and now you have the chance to knock around a few friends on ice!<\/p>\n

Rink, Rules & Price<\/h2>\n

Known for their year-round ice skating and ski slopes in winter, Ober Gatlinburg now offers ice bumper cars on their 140-by-75-foot ice rink, located in the center of the amusement park\u2019s mall. And for all the avid ice skaters worried about less time on the ice, there are still sections fully dedicated to camel spins, freestyle moves, and triple axels.<\/p>\n

Awesome! Now how much will it cost? Alright, let\u2019s get down to the nitty gritty of rules, regulations, and price for the Ice Bumper Cars attraction. First off, we\u2019re happy to report that children ages 3 and 4 years old ride FREE with a paying adult (18+ years), so you don\u2019t have to fork out extra cash for the kiddos. Understandably, little ones under 3 years of age are not allowed to ride for safety reasons. And for everyone else (5+ years), it costs 2 tickets (a book of 10 tickets comes to $31.50) or a fee of $7 per person. At 10 minutes per session, the ride is broken into 2 parts: orientation (3 minutes) and ice time (7 minutes). You have to be at least 7 years of age or older to ride alone. Oh, and shoes are a must\u2026go figure (skating).<\/p>\n

Snowy Fun at Ober Gatlinburg<\/strong>
\nHad your fill of the ice bumper cars? Enjoy a snowy good time snowboarding and skiing (typically opens around mid-December) down Ober\u2019s powdery, man-made slopes. Not up for intense sports but want to play in the snow? Try snow tubing (opens Saturday, November 17) or explore the Cubbies Snow Zone (opens during snowboard and ski season) with your little ones.<\/p>\n
