As of Saturday, November 21, 2015, snow tubing is open for all visitors. Tickets are selling quickly, but there\u2019s plenty of fun in store for your friends, family, and kids at Ober Gatlinburg!<br><strong><br>Tickets and Pricing<\/strong><br>Late November brought lots of sold-out weekends for snow tubing, so if you\u2019re planning on hitting the slopes, be sure to get to the ticket office early. Tickets are sold in person only and can be purchased for sessions occurring the same day or sessions up to 3 days in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Same-day tickets can be purchased in person at the Snow Tubing Ticket Office on the mountain in Ober Gatlinburg. You can buy advance tickets (for the following 3 days) at the Advance Tubing Ticket Office in the Tramway Mall (located in downtown Gatlinburg) or on the mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ticket prices vary depending on the day and season you visit. For non-holiday periods, you can buy snow tubing tickets for $20 session on Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are $25 per session. Check back with the Ober Gatlinburg snow tubing page for prices during peak seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Session Times and Other Info<\/strong><br>Snow tubing sessions are 90 minutes each. You can check out session times, including sold-out sessions, on the snow tubing page as well. Typically, session times are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don\u2019t have access to Wi-Fi or you have questions that you can\u2019t find an answer to on the website, feel free to call Ober Gatlinburg at (865) 436-5423. They can also tell you if tubing sessions have been delayed or canceled due to weather or temperature changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be sure to make plans for at least one session during your Smoky Mountain vacation. Visitors are calling this attraction \u201cexhilarating\u201d and \u201cintense.\u201d And they\u2019re loving the friendly atmosphere of Ober Gatlinburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The slopes are open to all visitors 3 years old and older. Children 3 to 5 must ride with an adult, and tubers must be at least 6 years old (and 42 inches tall) to ride solo. The good news is, with Ober Gatlinburg, you and your family will get to enjoy all the fun of sledding without having to climb back up the hill!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So bring your family, your kids, and all your friends to Ober Gatlinburg for some outdoor fun this winter you won\u2019t find anywhere else but the Smokies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>More Winter Fun at Ober Gatlinburg <\/strong><br><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cabinsforyou.com\/gatlinburg_article\/ice_skating_in_gatlinburg_tn.htm\">Ice Skating<\/a><\/em> \u2013 Because ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg is an indoor activity, you can actually buy tickets all year round. But it\u2019s especially fun to ice skate in the winter, when you\u2019re all bundled up already and the weather outside matches the cold temperatures inside the rink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Skiing\/Snowboarding<\/em>\u2014Typically, slopes open for skiing and snowboarding in mid- December and close in early to mid-March. Ski season depends entirely upon the weather, so check with Ober Gatlinburg\u2014either online or by phone\u2014for more information on the 2015\u00ac-2016 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Shopping\/Dining<\/em>\u2014Other activities at Ober Gatlinburg that make for the perfect escape from the plunging temperatures of winter are indoor shopping and dining.
