"When I go to the mountains to stay, I WANT TO SEE THE MOUNTAINS. Always. This place NAILED it. Very clean, very tidy. Has everything you need plus a pool table! The only drawback was the hot tub, that thing had enough chlorine in it to shock three swimming pools, two hot tubs and the neighbors pond down the street. Bleached out my swim trunks and my wife’s bathing suit. Once that gets fixed, you should have no complaints in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back to this one."

"This home was in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and wash cloths,(even though they said we needed to bring our own) kitchen was very nice, couch and chairs were comfortable. The house was very well insulated so it stay warm when it was in the 20’s without the heat running. The grill was great and it had propane there and so was the hot tub. The only down side was: no hairdryer, no type of covering over porch which would have been great, We loved staying here."

"Just a weekend trip with friends from Alabama. One has never been outside of Alabama and always wanted to see the mountain tops. The Sunny view cabin was perfect!!! The view was beautiful!!! We also had a young bear walk up on the front porch! That was pretty exciting for us all! We saw elk as we made our way through the mountain roads. While hiking up Clingmans Dome, we saw 2 bear cubs. We all knew if you saw baby, momma wasn’t too far. As many years as my husband and I have stayed in the mountains, it was our first experience with wildlife!!! That made our whole trip! Our Alabama friends definitely approved!!!"

The rooms spacious , the living room - kitchen area perfect ( kitchen stocked but didn’t use because I refuse to cook while on vacation :) … ) the view and hot tub were the best part ! We even saw a bear going up the driveway ! Overall a great 3 day stay !"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It's a great set up for two couples since each bedroom has a king sized bed and its own bathroom. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning and evenings (during the day, it is full-on sun with no shade). We played a lot of pool even though one ball had a big chunk missing and the table didn't seem to be very level--still lots of fun though! Overall the cabin was very clean. Some dishes in the kitchen had a little bit of a greasy film like they had been sitting in the cabinets for a while, so we washed anything we needed before using. The living room furniture could stand to be updated. The coffee table was wobbly and one of the throw pillows had a large hole in the seam. Before arrival, I received an email recommending to bring extra towels, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. The cabin was a little sparse with these things as we had only one roll of toilet paper and 3 or 4 towels provided for each bathroom. This was not a big deal, just wanted to echo the recommendation to bring extras if you think you might need it. The roads leading up to the cabin are narrow and steep at times, so 4WD/AWD is recommended. We surprisingly had great cell phone signal so we followed GPS, but definitely be prepared with directions as the roads are a bit confusing. We would definitely stay at this cabin again! It was overall great--had a beautiful view, conveniently located, and was a great place to relax after a day full of activities."

"Roads are little scary, so anyone has to be very careful there. With snow or rain it can be difficult to drive on. Cabin is wonderful and very convenient for two couples and no kids. Both rooms has beautiful views from the window. Deck has beautiful views and itself amazing for pictures."

"Loved the cabin and the view. We had a great stay. The driveway can be tricky if your driving a truck that has a wider turning radius. We would go just past the entrance and back in because there was no way to swing into the driveway otherwise. Smaller trucks would be fine, but this was in an F-250. Otherwise, we greatly enjoyed everything else."
