With great views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Starr Crest Resort is quintessential mountain living. It’s situated far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown to be peaceful, but it’s close enough to be convenient to area fun. This charming Pigeon Forge community will make you feel right at home when you’re away.
Downtown, spend your days playing at attractions and exploring. Lace up your hiking boots and check out some of the 800+ miles of trails, rent a bike, or go on a horseback ride. As far as attractions go, you’ll have your pick. Go karts, arcades, dinner shows, the Titanic Museum Attraction, The Escape Game at The Island, Smoky Mountain Ziplines, and indoor skydiving are just a few of the fun things to do downtown. Nearby Gatlinburg has an aquarium, old time photos, the Ripley’s attractions, and tons of shops and places to eat.
When the kids need to expel some energy, take them to the community pool to splash around. Bring their favorite floats and you can spend hours relaxing and playing on a hot summer day. The pool is open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and there is no lifeguard on duty.
Pavilion & Playground
Starr Crest Resort also has a playground where the kids can run around before heading back to the cabin. Or you can bring along some snacks and sandwiches for lunch at the pavilion with picnic tables. You’ll have great spaces at the cabin, but when you get a bit of cabin fever and don’t feel like going downtown, these nearby community amenities will be a nice perk.
