Perched atop a grassy hill and surrounded by the Smoky Mountain trees, The Raven’s Nest is an adorable A-frame cabin with all the comforts of home. Enjoy 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms inside this small group cabin for 6. Along with cozy bedrooms, The Raven’s Nest boasts a spacious living room in updated style, a fully equipped kitchen, and several bonus amenities, including a foosball table and DVD player.
Outside, The Raven’s Nest offers tons of porch space with its large back porch and open-air balcony. You’ll also have access to an outdoor hot tub and private views of Gatlinburg’s Aerial Tramway from your back deck. The Raven’s Nest is a great cabin choice for single family vacations or getaways with friends. Book this cabin in the fall for beautiful views of the changing leaves, or plan your visit in the summer when you can take full advantage of this cabin’s pool access and other outdoor community amenities.
With cozy living spaces, all the amenities you’d expect to find in a vacation rental, and easy access to Gatlinburg (downtown is less than 4 miles away), The Raven’s Nest is an easy choice for your next visit to the Smokies.
One of the first rooms you’ll see as you enter The Raven’s Nest is this cabin’s large and inviting living room. With high ceilings and warm, natural wood walls, this room automatically invites you to sit back and relax during your Smoky Mountain stay. The full-size leather couch and its matching loveseat provide seating for your small group. And you’ll appreciate these cozy places to relax after trekking through the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park for the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage or exploring the shops of the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community.
Plan to spend quiet evenings in The Raven’s Nest living room with the soothing sounds of wood crackling in the fireplace. Or enjoy a Smoky Mountain morning with a cup of coffee, a good book, and a flood of natural light spilling in from a wall of windows across the back of the cabin.
You can also plan for movie nights with this cabin’s flat screen TV and DVD player. Bring your own movie library, or stop by Redbox on your way to the cabin for enjoyable nights spent inside the cabin with family and friends.
For those who normally book a hotel room for family vacations, you’re going to love the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen like the one found inside The Raven’s Nest. This U-shaped kitchen has everything you’re used to at home, including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and electric stove.
For your convenience, The Raven’s Nest also provides a blender, toaster, coffeemaker, knife set, and much more to make homemade meals, late-night snacks, and your early-morning must-haves possible throughout your stay. Even if you’re planning to enjoy most of your meals at popular Gatlinburg restaurants—places like Calhoun’s, the Smoky Mountain Brewery, or The Peddlar Steakhouse—you’ll still appreciate The Raven’s Nest kitchen for storing and reheating your leftovers.
Conveniently located close to the kitchen, the dining room inside The Raven’s Nest boasts a maple-stained wooden table with place settings for 6. For extra seating, you’ll also find a 2-piece breakfast bar attached to the kitchen. Enjoy a pancake breakfast around the table during your stay, or stop by a local joint—we recommend a place like The Original Best Italian Café & Pizzeria on the Parkway—and bring something back to enjoy in the comfort and privacy of your cabin.
After dinner, spread out some board games or cards on the table for a fun (and budget-friendly) evening together. You’re sure to appreciate having a private atmosphere to hang out with friends and family—something we don’t always have time for when we’re at home!
With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, The Raven’s Nest is ideal for small group getaways to the Smoky Mountains. That can mean single family vacations, couples’ getaways, or a weekend retreat with your girlfriends. When it comes to comfortable sleeping spaces, the 3 bedrooms inside this cabin offer varying accommodations to fit your needs. The upstairs bedroom features the largest bed—a king-size—as well as its own TV, a bedside table and reading lamp, and private access to an outdoor, open-air balcony with a patio table for 2.
The other 2 bedrooms can be found on the main level of this cabin. The first offers a queen-size bed with a small chest of drawers and reading lamp. The other offers comparable furnishings, but with a full-size bed instead of a queen. Spread out however you want inside The Raven’s Nest. This cabin provides plenty of comfort and privacy to adults and kids alike.
One of the best features of The Raven’s Nest is its gorgeous outdoor space, complete with a large porch and open-air balcony. From either location, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Smoky Mountain trees, and you’ll also have private views of the Aerial Tramway right from your back deck. If you’ve never ridden the Aerial Tramway, make time to check out this classic Gatlinburg attraction during your stay. Operating since 1973, this tramway is one of America’s largest, transporting passengers from downtown Gatlinburg to the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area.
Other outdoor amenities included with The Raven’s Nest include a charcoal grill and outdoor picnic table, making your family’s Memorial Day or Fourth of July barbecue an easy tradition to continue. But no matter what time of year you visit, you’ll love this cabin’s private outdoor hot tub. Use this to soothe away any stress you’ve built up throughout the year or to ease your aching muscles after a long hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park—the entrance to which is less than 5 miles from this Gatlinburg cabin.
Along with your charcoal grill and outdoor picnic table, The Raven’s Nest provides access to a few other outdoor amenities you should take advantage of during a late spring or summertime visit to the Smokies. For one, this cabin provides access to a community outdoor pool in Chalet Village. If you’re looking for a place to take a refreshing dip, this large pool with plenty of deck chairs for sunbathing is the place to go! Other outdoor community amenities provided by this cabin include a large playground area and tennis courts.
Back at the cabin, The Raven’s Nest also provides a foosball table in its loft for hours of fun without ever leaving the cabin. Finally, you’ll enjoy a paved driveway for easy maneuvering in the Smoky Mountains as you drive to and from The Raven’s Nest throughout your stay.
Downtown Gatlinburg is so close to The Raven’s Nest that you can actually see parts of the city from your balcony! From your paved driveway, you’ll have less than a 4-mile drive to popular Gatlinburg attractions along the Parkway.

We had a wonderful weekend in Gatlinburg and the cabin, The Raven's Nest was great! It has an awesome view and is very well stocked. After long busy days, relaxing in the hot tub was heaven. It was such a hoot to be up so high to be able to wave to the people on the tram as they pass right past us! And you can see the ski slopes! The cabin is a great value and well equipped with a fireplace, wood, tv, stereo, kitchen appliances, foosball table, access to a pool, etc. We will be back!
We stayed in The Raven's Nest in November. The cabin was clean, and we had no problems during our stay. Loved the private location! It is in the woods but has a terrific mountain view, and the tram passing so closely was really cool. We found it very convenient that it is literally right at Ober Gatlinburg so you can hitch the tram to downtown. We are definitely planning on returning to this cabin. This was the third consecutive year we have been in a Cabins for You cabin and have not been disappointed yet! We are customers for keeps!
