splash into the month of June with Dollywood’s Splash

Come to the Smokey Mountains for a Moonshine Rod Run.
This event is to celebrate the area’s Smokey Mountain
Heritage and it takes place at Newport City Park,
You must go see “Christyfest: My Heart is in the
Mountains” is the Great Smokey Mountains. Come and see
where Catherine Marshall’s beloved characters live.
Larry Meyers will tell some stories about the real
Chapel Hollow. This is also going to serve as a
“reunion” for the actors of “Christy”. This event
includes: a writer’s workshop, a trip to Del Rio
Mission, a tour of the Tuckaleechee Caverns, many
raffles, auctions, discussion forums and plenty more.

Shh! There’s some Spring Secrets in Gatlinburg,
Tennessee. Treat yourself to a guided limousine tour of

Do you love Pontiac cars? If you do then visit Pigeon
Forge, Tennessee for the Pontiac Car Club on the weekend
of June 3rd through June 5th. The event has tons of
Pontiac cars, new and old. This event is taking place at

Taking place in the Great Smokey Mountains is the
Southeast Regional Aircraft Modeling EXPO. You can bring
your own model aircraft or you can just stop by to see a
small air show with radio controlled airplanes. Adults
and kids will both enjoy this event. There is also paper
airplane demonstrations, model building, radio control
and even some fly-bys from full-sized aircraft. This
event will be taking place on June 11th and June 12th.
For those Camero, Chevelle and Nova fans there is going
to be a Camero, Chevelle and Nova Southern Nationals in
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on the weekend of June 17th and
June 18th. This event is going to take place at the
Music Road Hotel and Convention Center. Details can be

Bring the kids and come to Dollywood’s Kidfest in Pigeon
Forge, Tennessee. The kids will absolutely love this
entertainment. All the events will be taking place at
Dollywood. The festival begins on June 17th and runs

Summer’s definitely beginning to bloom in Gatlinburg,
Tennessee for the Gatlinburg Flower Fest. Gatlinburg
will be full of beautiful and fragrant floral displays.
You will also be able to experience live Bluegrass music
on Friday and Saturday nights all throughout June. The
concerts are going to be on the Parkway, right beside
the convention center and are totally free. The festival
will be going on during the weekends throughout the
entire month.
Spending some time during the summer in the Great Smokey
Mountains will become a yearly tradition and all it
takes is just one visit. Be sure to visit Pigeon Forge
and Gatlinburg, Tennessee in June and catch all of the

Old Smoky Hoedown
Are you and the family planning a fun filled family trip
to the Smokey Mountains? Then the Old Smokey Hoedown is
the perfect place to visit. They have three different
shows at the Old Smokey Hoedown. The Hope Chest Show
occurs from spring to summer. The Harvest Show occurs
from September 13 until October 30. And the Christmas in
the Hills from November till December. Shows start a
7:30 p.m sharp. Tickets are $20.00 for adults. $20.00
for seniors. Teens ages 13-19 are $12.00. Taxes are
included in all prices. Kids ages 6-12 are $5.00.
Received one kids ticket free when you pay for an adult
or senior ticket. Ages 5 and under are free. Elwood
Smooch’s Old Smokey Hoedown is the Travel Writer’s show
of the year. Come and see the comedy legend Elwood
Smooch and his musically talented family sing, dance,
they will even make you laugh till you cry. Elwood
Smooch was inducted into the International Clown Hall of
Fame. Elwood is best known for his baggy trousers,
railroad hat, his big shoes, and a smile that you will
never forget. Elwood created the Old Smokey Hoedown in
1996 and it quickly became a family hit.

Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg TN
When visiting the Smokies seeing the Ripley’s Aquarium
