Illumination and Decoration Contest
Most local Gatlinburg Businesses get in the Winterfest
spirit by decorating their stores for the festival. The
winners of the Winterfest are awarded prizes. Winterfest
is not just about prizes, the main idea is to decorate
Gatlinburg from top to bottom with an amazing two
million dazzling lights.

1st- Feb. 28th: The 15th Annual Smoky Mountain
Winterfest Festival
This celebration where the three Smoky Mountain
community take part in a celebration of light making the
entire Smokey Mountain Region light up with over five
millions lights. Also the Winterfest celebration
includes a variety of theater events.

Trolley Tour of Lights
Another way the Smokey Mountains celebrate the Winterfest
festivities is by Trolleys. You can catch a ride at the
Fun time Trolley Station in Patriot Park. This event is
only for groups.
Pigeon Forge, TN: Feb 2nd - 4th: 15th Annual Smoky
Mountains Storytelling Festival
This is a event were many magical things can happen.
Some performers include: cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell,
champion liar Bil Lepp and Grammy Winner David Holt. The National Youth
Storytelling Showcase is another unique Smoky Mountain
story telling event.
Gatlinburg, TN: Feb. 3rd: Southern Exposure 5
Slalom races, jumping, and an awards ceremony are
just a few of the events that take place during this
event. Also
included is the unique Cardboard Classic Race. During
this race, people race down the mountain on their very own
homemade cardboard sleds! Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort is

"Saddle Up!"
Country Tonite Theatre is were this event take place.

this event you can experience western music, cowboy

Sevierville, TN: Feb 18th - 19th : The 18th Smoky
Mountain Home Show
For the past couple of years, as well as this year, the
Home Show will take place at the Sevierville Community
Center. This year‘s show is supposed to be the biggest
