The
Smoky Mountains are best known for their natural, breath
taking and unforgettable beauty. The amazingly beautiful
Great Smoky Mountains National Park keeps visitors

In Pigeon Forge, Tennessee from June 17th to August 7th
come be a part of Dollywood’s Kidsfest. Dollywood’s
Kidsfest this year will include entertainment, like
Veggie Tales and some very exciting extreme sports
activities. The Water Park and other rides are also some
favorites for the kids to enjoy in August.
In Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on August 5th and 6th come
take a look at the Southern Nationals Battle of the
Trucks Nationals. The southern nationals will be taking
place at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center. If

In Cherokee, North Carolina on August 6th bring the kids
for the 4th Annual Children’s Trout Tournament. This is
a fun packed events for the entire family. The event
takes place at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds.
In Gatlinburg, Tennessee on August 13th The Great Smoky
Arts & Crafts Foundation will be having an auction. This
auction will be having a wide variety of Smoky Mountain
arts and crafts on display from local Tennessee and
North Carolina artists and other craftspeople. Come join
them and be a part of the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts
Foundations Auction and help support the arts and crafts
community of Gatlinburg and other surrounding areas.
In Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on August 13th through August
20th join in the festivities at the 6th Annual Celebrate
Freedom as Pigeon Forge salutes America. Just as the
title says this event is all about celebrating American
freedom and values. The event takes place at various

In Sky Valley, North Carolina on August 14th enjoy a
little music at Jazz in the Park. Enjoy wonderful jazz
music, Smoky Mountain style at this music celebration.
This celebration is sponsored by the Rabun County Music
Festival Association. The event takes place at the
Pavilion at Sky Valley.
In Gatlinburg, Tennessee on August 20th through
September 5th the 4th Annual Gatlinburg Heritage
Festival will be held. Come enjoy two weeks of Smoky
Mountain Arts and Crafts heritage with the Gatlinburg
Arts and Crafts Community. Take a walk along the 8-mile
loop that has been designated the Tennessee Heritage
Arts and Crafts Trail. On the trail you can stop in at
well over 80 Smokies arts and crafts shops. For more
