Description

Eyes closed, inhale the fresh morning air lingering through the pines that surround Little Bear Cabin and let your mind peacefully wander without any care for stresses back home. This is YOUR Smoky Mountain escape, and with all the amenities and downtown attractions so close, you have the best of both the serenity of nature and the hustle and bustle of town! Bring the whole family to the exciting Smoky Mountains or vacation with another couple in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom wooded abode in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Peacefully tucked among the trees, this Pigeon Forge cabin lets you enjoy fresh air from the decks or unwind in the outdoor hot tub to soothe your muscles after a full day of exploring and horseback riding in Cades Cove. Play games at the dinner table before heading to Pigeon Forge for dinner and a show or come back to the cabin for cozy nights relaxing in front of the fire. Perfectly nestled among the mountains between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Little Bear Cabin offers the best of both worlds — an exciting city vacation and a soothing mountain retreat.

Living Area
Walk through the front door of your Smoky Mountain cabin and throw your bags down before kicking up your feet on the plush couches of the living room area just inside the front door. All the exposed wood, earthy mountain décor, plush living room furniture, and lofty ceilings lend you a natural atmosphere with modern living amenities.

If you have a book you’ve been aching to crack open, curl up on the dark suede armrest and spend the afternoon sipping coffee and immersing yourself in another world. In the mornings, flip on the 50-inch big screen TV with Spectrum cable for the news or cartoons before heading into town to play.

The coffee table is even large enough for games, so you can bring along your favorites and gather around with family and friends. You can even bring along pillows and blankets and make a movie-night pallet for the kids on the floor!

Dining Area
Gather in the dining area at this Pigeon Forge cabin rental for warm-hearted fellowship with friends you want to reconnect with over dinner or situate the kids around the table for an energizing family meal after a day of ziplining, driving go-karts, and playing Crave mini-golf together in downtown Pigeon Forge.

The lovely 6-person dining table is nestled between the living room and kitchen, making it super easy to move plates of food to the table and then move into the living room to lounge. Or you can make this table your game-night hub, where you’ll laugh and play late into the night, with the glow of the fireplace nearby.

Kitchen
Feel at home in this Pigeon Forge cabin’s warm, natural setting with all the appliances you’ll need for cooking up a delicious meal after a full day at Dollywood. Stop by The Old Mill general store in downtown Pigeon Forge before heading back to the cabin to pick up some of their renowned pancake mix to use for a filling breakfast in the morning.

Along with your pancake breakfast, make a hot pot of coffee to sip on the front deck to get your energy going before taking on tons of shops in downtown Gatlinburg. And with a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, and dishwasher, you’ll have an easy place to store leftovers, make popcorn for movie nights with the whole family, or whip up midnight snacks.

Bedrooms
Comfortable bedroom spaces and inviting queen-size beds make going to sleep something to look forward to after hiking through the large underground cave and waterfall of Tuckaleechee Caverns. Kick off your shoes and lie on the bed for a quiet nap, or turn on the TV for a movie night before falling asleep (no cable box; DVD only in entry-level bedroom).

The soft light coming through the windows over the beds makes an afternoon nap a tempting option for tuckered-out kiddos, parents, or grandparents. And the rustic mountain décor and views of the trees are just the right amount of “roughing it” within the comfort of the cabin.

In the entry-level bedroom, find 2 queen-size beds. The second-level bedroom also has its own private bathroom, along with ample space to unpack plus its own TV. For additional sleeping space, there’s a sleeper sofa in the living room and a futon in the rec loft.

Game Loft
Between hiking Smoky Mountain trails, shopping for homemade fudge, and sipping Ole Smoky Moonshine, keep the fun vibes up at your Pigeon Forge vacation rental. Step into your private billiards room in the loft game room that overlooks the living room. As you wait for your shot, play on the arcade console or take a break with a snack.

With large windows framing wooded views, it’s a peaceful and fun place to spend a few hours with family and friends — whether it’s raining, too hot to get out, or just a lazy day around the cabin. There’s also a futon here, so it's great for sleepovers!

Outdoor Amenities
Start your mornings right at YOUR Pigeon Forge cabin rental, with a hot cup of coffee and some fresh mountain air on the deck. As you sip, breathe in the peacefulness of the trees around you. Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch, unwind in the soothing waters of the hot tub on the deck, have a meal at the 4-person table on the back deck, or just enjoy the gorgeous colors of the leaves during fall’s natural showcase.

Out front, the gorgeous pergola features a porch swing and a charcoal grill, great for family cookouts and barbecues with friends on nice days in the Great Smoky Mountains. There's even a stone firepit to keep the party going into the evening and night. It's the perfect place to swap stories and roast marshmallows together on your getaway.

For travel notes, the driveway is newly paved in 2022 with a flat parking area at the top.

Reviews for Little Bear Cabin

  • "The whole family enjoyed a 10 night stay. Cabin was well equipped, cozy and very accommodating. View was great, made use of the grill all week, beds very comfortable. Grandkids loved the arcade game. Temperature was in the low 20's several nights so we used the fireplace a lot. Driveway is steep but, not a problem. Overall a very relaxing stay and family vacation."

  • "Cabin was absolutely wonderful. Very clean and all the necessities that we needed. Only one thing. It is on a steep hill and we should have had a 4 wheel drive to get to it. We did end up in the driveway. We only stayed one night."

We're so happy your stay at Little Bear Cabin was wonderful! We appreciate your feedback, and would love to host you again in the future!

  • "We stayed in Little Bear Cabin for 4 days, 3 nights. We had a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need to have an enjoyable stay. This cabin is centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so that makes it easy to go for a day on the town. It is located in a beautiful wooded area with a view of the mountains in front. The cabin is also beautifully decorated. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone, including those with a family, as there is plenty of room!"

  • "My family had stayed at Little Bear Cabin and totally loved it! It was a short notice trip and Cabins For You had this cabin open at a great price. The kids loved the cabin just as much as we did. We couldn't keep our youngest out of the hot tub! We had arrived a little early and the staff was extremely nice and helpful with an early complimentary check in. The cabin was perfect in size and also had a pool table. All we needed to bring was our personal items; everything else was provided. I have already recommended the cabin and company to others. We are already planning our next trip and Cabins for You is who we will be making our reservations with. Thank you for a terrific place to stay. And I might add the view from the front porch was amazing! This family will be staying with Cabins For You in the future."

  • "Nice home, decently clean, really Convenient location. Home has everything you need, with nice extras (pool table, ample deck space, grill and hot tub). The only draw back was the driveway. We were warned to bring 4WD/AWD. Which we did (Ford explorer and Subaru Forester) and we still had trouble summiting in dry conditions. Cars AWD or not would not make it, based on clearance. Parking also was not great."

  • "An amazing cabin with everything you need and beautiful views where you have many options to choose from and see many different views all from your cabin, the decks, or even the swingout front by the grill and fireplace! The only down fall is the driveways scary if you have a car butttt if they pave the driveway it would make it perfect"

  • "We stayed for 4 nights at the Little Bear cabin. It was just as described on the website. We loved the mountain views and how easily accessible both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were from our location. We highly recommend Cabins for You and plan to stay there again."

  • "I recently stayed in Little Bear Cabin, with a group of friends. We had an amazing time, the cabin was perfectly sized, clean and cozy. We were also lucky enough to have a Mama Bear and two cubs come visit us one morning! They did not bother us, other than stealing some food from a cooler. Great place and I will return!"

  • "Had a great time with friends and stayed in little bear cabin and enjoyed time around the outside fire pit even when a momma bear and her two cubs invaded us for a few minutes. Would definitely recommend this company for cabin rentals."

  • "We really enjoyed this cabin. The outdoor space was awesome."

  • "We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect."

  • "Good views, intense trek up the road to the cabin but worth it for the quiet, unique stay."

  • "We always book through cabins for you and we’ve NEVER had any issues ! LOVE how easy and accessible everything is !!"

  • "Customer service is honestly among the best in the business! We had an issue with the hot tub not heating up when we first arrived and they had someone there that evening to fix it. Most places make you wait until the next day. Other than that, our stay was wonderful! This was our second time using this company and we would highly recommend!"

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We utilized the hot tub, pool table, retro game, fire pit, kitchen, and living spaces a lot. The biggest complaint I saw on here was the driveway, it is very steep. We had good weather and no problems navigating it, with my low to the ground VW Jetta. The location is great, great access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The views are stellar and this was one of the few cabins in the area that felt really private, when considering distance/ views of neighbors. Very easy to check in, they texted me the door code prior to our arrival and made sure I knew the process. The living spaces were good for playing games, drinking, and eating with the family. I will say that considering we had 8 people and there is a hot tub, the house was not well stocked with blankets or towels. The washer and dryer got plenty of use."

  • "Great rental property selection with easy ways of choosing the correct one for your needs. Highly recommend"

  • "The cabin was awesome and clean and comfortable"

  • "It was beautiful and well furnished! We will definitely be staying there again."
