Over the past ten years, all holes have been redone. This courses 12th hole is a challenge; there is a 200 foot drop from tee to green.

Eagle’s Landing Golf Club was opened in June 1994. It is a championship course and is ranked one of the top in the state. Many tournaments have been held at this course such as the Tennessee PGA Championship, Knoxville Chapter PGA Championship, Tennessee State Open Qualifying, Tennessee Intercollegiate Championship, Mid-South Collegiate Championship, Home site for the Tennessee PGA’s Calloway Open. This course has 18 holes par 72 with five sets of tees.

River’s Island Golf Course has you playing along the French Broad River. Four of the holes are actually located on “islands” along the river. This golf course was designed by golf course architect Arthur Mills. Golf Digest awarded this golf course a four star rating. This golf course is located at the foot of the Smokey Mountains just minutes away from Knoxville, TN.

Laurel Valley Golf and Country Club is located in Townsend, TN. This golf course will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Play the greens, enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the mountain views. This is an 18 hole golf course with restrooms and water fountains found all along the course.

Baneberry Golf and Resort is located on a peninsula that juts out onto Douglas Lake. You have a beautiful mountain view and you play along a peaceful lake. This golf course sometimes doubles as a nature preserve. Golfers have reported sightings of all types of wildlife. This golf course also allows you a great view of the Smokey Mountains while you play. This golf resort is located only 7 miles from I-40 or I-81.

Dandridge Golf and Country Club is also a golf course that will challenge all golfers of different skill levels. The first 18 holes were designed by Dan Maples. Then in 1991 nine more holes were added, making this golf course a 27 hole course. Beautiful views are also offered by this golf course. Views of lakes, valleys and mountains can be admired while playing along. This is a 72 par course is only 35 minutes from Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge.
