On your next trip to
Gatlinburg
Tennessee why
don’t you stop at Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre? It’s a
Broadway style show located at traffic light #3 right in
downtown Gatlinburg Tennessee. They’ve been performing since
1977 and since then they have been recognized as one of
the “most innovative and unusual professional theater
companies in the country”. Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is
one of the National Historical Treasures. It’s a truly
unique show that everyone traveling in your party will
be sure to enjoy.
The shows at Sweet Fanny Adams
Theatre reflect those shows from the Old English Music
Hall, American Vaudeville, Monty Python, and Broadway
musicals. Each year 2 different shows are put on. The
performers are professionals of the stage, TV’s, night
clubs, etc. Each performer adds something unique to the
show whether it be their wittiness, improv ability or
unique actions.
The producers are Pat and Don MacPherson. The
MacPherson’s have written, produced and direct over 30
comedies from the east coast to the west coast.
Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre isn’t like
all the other shows around Gatlinburg Tennessee. The audience is
able to participate and most of the time given vouchers
for attractions around the area for participating. The
theatre is small which allows every seat in the house to
be “the best seat”. Visitors of Sweet Fanny Adams
Theatre have said “..it’s the best show in
Gatlinburg..”, “..definitely something to watch..”,
“..we laughed until we cried..” and many other excellent
reviews. If you go to watch one show and then decide you
want to go back there’s another show the next day. The
shows alternate days and they even record the shows and
sell them afterwards so that you can purchase them for a
souvenir of your trip to Gatlinburg. After the show you can stop and talk to the
actors. They love hearing feedback about what their
guests thought.
You will share laughter at this show
with the other audience members and have memories and
jokes to take home with you. Hopefully you’ll return
each year and stop by and visit the show and
see new ones from every year. This show takes up a
charity at the end of it to help out an institution who
helps to shelter/spay/neuter pets. While it’s totally
optional it’s also a good charity. For more
