Ripley's Museum in Gatlinburg, TN
Believe me when
I say we have the best
Gatlinburg Cabins and that you need to
see the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum in
Gatlinburg. The unique museum features
artifacts that Robert Ripley procured during his
lifetime of discovery. The museum has many diverse
cartoons, interactive displays, and numerous
exhibits for the whole family to enjoy. Check out
the almost-human wood sculpture, a working robot
made from old car parts, and a vampire killing kit!
The museum is open April through October from 9:00
a.m. till midnight and the rest of the year Monday
through Friday 10:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. and
Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m.
Check out the
many rare and odd creatures that Robert Ripley has
amassed during his lifetime. Be sure to see the two
headed skeleton, which only happens in less than 1
in a billion people! Imagine the shrunken heads, the
vampire killing kit, and you may even see a
five-legged cow. Visit all the odd displays of human
and nature’s way of saying we’re not all the same in
this world. The founder, Robert Ripley, died in
1949, and it’s amazing to see how his artifacts and
wonderful discoveries from all around the globe can
still be maintained and displayed in a respectable
fashion in the museum. The price to enter
is only $12.95 for an adult, children 6-11 get in
for $7.95, and children under the age of 6 are given
admission for free! A trip of a lifetime around the
world without ever leaving the city awaits you at
the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum.
