Hello Cabins for you! My husband and
I had a wonderful time at your cabin this past Spring.
Let me back up a bit and tell you about the months
before our visit. We had been trying to get pregnant for
a very long time with no success. I was seeing my doctor
regularly and following his orders in trying to
conceive. He continued to tell me to relax and that
stress could cause infertility. Well, it was difficult
to relax when we really wanted a baby! We even went to
Disney World thinking the perfect getaway, and hoping
for some "magic", but returned home disappointed yet
again. So, in the spring, for our 8th wedding
anniversary, my wonderful husband surprised me with a
trip to the mountains to stay at one of your cabins. It
was amazing! The cabin was secluded and beautiful. I was
without stress those few days we were there. We were
able to spend such quality time together & only focus on
each other. As we returned home, my doctor wanted
to do surgery on my reproductive organs. I agreed as I
was desperate to find answers to our infertility. A
couple weeks later, I sat in the doctor's office for my
pre-op visit and the doctor had my blood work in his
hands. He read the report and said, "No surgery for
you...you're going to have a baby!" Of course, I was so
thrilled, excited, and shocked as I called my husband
and gave him the wonderful news! As the doctor tracked
the date we conceived, it was during our stay at CABINS
FOR YOU! So, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts
for creating such an amazing place for families!!! We
are expecting our little girl on January 2, 2008. We've
even thought about giving her the middle name "Smokey"
as our stay was in the Smokey Mountains in your cabin.
We are looking forward to many more amazing memories in
your cabins! |
