Pigeon Forge excels in offering a little something special for everyone. In this city, there’s so much to do that at times it can be difficult to center your gaze on just one activity. This can sometimes make it difficult to figure out what activity or event is the right one to engage in during your mountain getaway. Picture this scenario, for example: a female visitor is attempting to surprise her male partner by taking him to a location that she knows he will enjoy. The trouble is, with so much to do and see in Pigeon Forge, she has no idea what is out there for him! If this is similar to a situation you find yourself facing while perusing the area, then never fear. Here are a few typical male-oriented attractions you can find in Pigeon Forge.

The Hummer Tour – My Favorite Attraction Yet
I’ve always wanted to take a Hummer tour in Gatlinburg! I wasn’t really sure if it would be fun or not but I’m an adventure lover and like to try everything at least once. I’ll go ahead and tell you that my complimentary Hummer tour ride with Outdoor Adventures of the Smokies was my absolute favorite attraction/adventure in Gatlinburg to date. I have to mention that there’s a lot I haven’t done yet, but the Hummer tour was so amazing that I had to take the time and give Outdoor Adventures of the Smokies some recognition.
Gatlinburg is a great town for tourists with all the history and attractions it has to offer. Locals strive to keep the town interesting to visit so that tourists continue to enjoy their town. Not only do locals enjoy when tourists come to town but the bears do too.
For the past 35 years Gatlinburg Tennessee has held a Midnight Independence Day Parade. It is one of the most anticipated events for Gatlinburg locals and attracts nearly 100,000 visitors every year. The streets of Gatlinburg are closed late on July 3rd and at the stroke of midnight on July 4th the parade will start winding it’s way through downtown Gatlinburg.
On July 4, 2010 be sure to get your spot in downtown Gatlinburg for the Stand Here Fireworks Finale. There are thousands of people that make their way to downtown for this event. It was voted as one of the top 20 events by the Southeast Tourism Society. The fireworks will start shortly after 10 pm and last about 20 minutes. No seat is a bad seat, you might even be able to see fireworks from your Gatlinburg cabin (if it has a view of downtown, of course).
