If you’re spending Easter weekend in Gatlinburg then you’re probably looking for a worship service to attend on Sunday morning. While Gatlinburg has countless churches, synagogues and other places of worship, for a once in a lifetime experience, there is only one place to be! Attend the 12th Annual Ober Gatlinburg Easter Sunrise Service for a truly breathtaking and beautiful experience.
Held at the top of Mount Harrison, this 30-40 minute long worship service welcomes community members and visitors alike. Beginning at 6:00AM, the service will be led by local pastors from the Gatlinburg Ministerial Association. As you and your family worship, you will watch the sunrise illuminate the Great Smoky Mountains. All offerings that are collected during the service will go towards helping the needy in Sevierville County.
Beginning at 5:15AM, Ober Gatlinburg will provide its visitors with free tram rides to the mountain top, however, complimentary parking will be provided for those guests who prefer to drive. Beginning at 6:30AM, an Easter buffet will be held at Ober Gatlinburg’s Restaurant. Serving a delicious array of breakfast foods, you and your family can enjoy each other’s company after the service! The price for adults is $9.95 + tax and children (10 and under) will be $5.95 + tax. Have a Happy Easter and take your family to enjoy a moving service and delicious breakfast!
