Back for the sixth year, the Cabins For You Photo Contest will offer photographers of every skill level a chance to show their photography skills! The Smoky Mountains are a truly fantastic place to snap some shots, with incredible scenery and diverse wildlife. Rolling hills, lush valleys, snow-capped mountains, and historic sites set the backdrop for stunning shots. Great city shots can even be found in and around the downtown areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Whether you’re just starting to learn or you’ve got a good bit of practice behind you, you can test your photography skills during the 6th annual Cabins For You Photo Contest! The photography contest is open to all legal U.S. residents who are at least 18 years old (excluding Cabins For You employees, family members, and household members). Categories include: Scenery, Wildlife, and People. A prize will be given to the winner in each category, and a grand prize will be given to the overall winner!
The prizes for the 2015 Cabins For You Photo Contest are as follows:
Grand Prize: $750 gift certificate for a stay in a Cabins For You cabin* and a gift package in the cabin upon arrival
Winner of Scenery category: $400 gift certificate for a stay in a Cabins For You cabin*
Winner of Wildlife category: $400 gift certificate for a stay in a Cabins For You cabin*
Winner of People category: $400 gift certificate for a stay in a Cabins For You cabin*
*Some stipulations apply.
Photos submitted to the contest should feature the Smoky Mountains, with subjects in and around Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cades Cove. We encourage you to be creative, have fun, and celebrate the beauty of the area!
Your photo must be your original work, so please do not submit a photo that is stock, copyrighted, or the work of another photographer. Any of these submissions will be disqualified. Only one submission is permitted per person. If you submit more than one photo entry, only the first entry will be accepted.
The winners for the contest will be chosen based on two factors: 1) number of “likes” on our Facebook page for photographs submitted and 2) votes by the Cabins For You staff. The photo contest will run from January 12, 2015 to March 3, 2015, with a winner announced on March 17, 2015. Photos must be submitted by 8:59 p.m. on March 3.

- Attach your photograph for the contest.
- Add a caption.
- Hit “Enter Contest” and you’re done!
