Valentine’s Day in Gatlinburg

Valentine’s Day is less than one month away, and you know what that means! It’s time to begin planning a romantic escape to the Great Smoky Mountains. This year, Valentine’s Day (February 14) falls on a Friday, giving you and your special someone an entire weekend to relax and unwind in the great city of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Why vacation on Valentine’s Day? While a box of chocolates and bouquet of roses is sure to score you some points, a weekend vacation is a special luxury that your sweetie will remember forever. One of the most romantic locations in the world is practically right in your back yard – the Smokies are waiting for you!

The Cabin
Call us biased, but we believe that any setting involving a mountain backdrop and log cabin is considered pretty romantic! Our beautiful cabins feature breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains and include features such as wood fireplaces and jetted Jacuzzi tubs for your relaxing pleasure. Climb into the hot tub and gaze at the stars or just curl up on the couch to enjoy the peace and quiet. You will treasure the time you spend with your loved one in your Gatlinburg cabin rental.

The Activities
It’s true – Gatlinburg, Tennessee is one of the most unique vacation destinations in the world. There are activities for nearly everyone here, from the newly-engaged couple to the two celebrating their golden anniversary. Enjoy a day of fun in the snow at Ober Gatlinburg or spend the day exploring one of the city’s attractions, such as Ripley’s Aquarium. There’s never time to be bored in the Smokies!

The Food
Although Gatlinburg is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, the city offers dozens of quiet restaurants, lit by flickering candles and a romantic ambiance, to visit on Valentine’s Day. Feast on a delicious steak dinner, then hit the town to check out one of the city’s famous bakeries or candy shops. Take home a delicious sweet treat (perhaps something from Donut Friar?) to enjoy back in your cabin rental.

The Time
When the day draws to a close, it’s important to remember why we celebrate Valentine’s Day. The time you spend with your significant other is something that most of us take for granted – sometimes a quiet weekend away from your day to day lives is just what you two need. Reconnect and enjoy one another’s company when you spend Valentine’s Day weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains.
