Ober Gatlinburg in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is obvious fun during those frigid winter months, but the snow has melted! That means there is nothing to do atop that mountain until the temps begin to fall again. Right?! WRONG!!

Alpine Slide: Enjoy a leisurely ride up the mountain on the chairlift. Then, bob and weave your way all the way down one of the 1,800 foot tracks! Ice Skating: For those of you who love Jack Frost’s chill, don’t worry! He leaves Ober Gatlinburg a memento as a promise of his return – the ice arena. You can ice skate year-round inside Ober Gatlinburg’s enclosed Mall. A three-hour session is $9.00 and includes skate rentals. Children 6 and under are permitted to skate for free with a paying adult.
Amaze’n Maze: If you like a challenge or want some friendly competition against your family, friends and the Amaze’n Maze clock, this is where you want to be! As you enter the maze you will be given a passport. This passport is to be stamped at specific checkpoints as you work your way through the maze. The navigational frenzy clocks your time, and if you fair well, you will receive a prize at the end. The cost is $7.00 per person and children under 6 are free with a paying adult.
Blue Cyclone Rapids: If you are looking for shade from the blistering sun and a way to cool off a bit from the sweltering heat, look no further. Get comfy in your inflated raft, then push yourself into the dark tunnel and plunge over sixty feet on white water waves. You will find yourself climbing the side of the walls as you speed faster and faster, twisting and turning through the enclosed water slides! This is the epitome of summer fun!
