This river begins in North Carolina and continues
through Tennessee. Experience white water rafting and
travel through class 3 and 4 rapids where you'll be
guaranteed a great ride! All of our Tennessee rafting
trips are guided to keep your adventure safe and
enjoyable. Rafting is only 45 minutes from

Smoky Mountain Outdoors rafting trips are for all
families of all ages and sizes. Smoky Mountain rafting
uses 8 person Self-Bailing Riken Rafts. These are 6
chamber boats with inflated floors so that no bailing is
required. Falling out is rare due to the design of the
rafts. Each boat consists of 1 guide and 6 or 7
passengers. The rapids in the U.S. are based on a scale
from 1 - 6. One being the easiest and six being the
roughest.
There are two different sections on the Pigeon Forge
River. On the lower level there is no experience needed.
It is a five and a half mile trip with 50 rapids all
class 1 and 2. There is one class three rapid along the
way. The upper section on the river is a six and a half
mile trip with roughly 70 rapids ranging anywhere from a
class 1 to class 4. Why you might consider
